We purchased a “silver” hose from a box store that purported to be 50’. To say we were disappointed was an understatement. Besides the fact that it wasn’t (and I don’t think it could ever reach) 50’, the pressure was terrible, and so we looked for another option. I saw this hose on Amazon, and found that it had great reviews (and many of them), and it was on sale AND Prime (so I could easily return if I needed to). It is AWESOME! I ordered the 100’ still believing that the old hose was actually 50’, and so much too short. This hose is LONG! But it reaches across the long side of our yard with ease and works great with the sprinkler too. I roll it up into an empty plant pot, but if you have a hose roller, that will help you. It is super light weight and easy to handle (I have trouble with the weight of regular hoses). It is super flexible, doesn’t tangle, and looks to be very sturdy. No leaks so far (at the spigot or throughout the hose). It is black and has a nice texture that would be attractive in any garden. ... show more

It’s kink free and keeps working even if knotted up. It also comes with a nozzle and is really lightweight and flexible. Very good heavy duty hose, will never kink. This hose will last for years, but has a major flaw that nobody talks about nor mention. The problem is water flow... if you want a hose that delivers max water volume, you need to buy a 3/4 size hose.... I can't find anywhere the zise but I guess is 1/2. If you know anything about GPM then you understand what I'm talking about. It delivers a decent amount of water with good pressure, but try to fill up a bucket and you'll see the difference between this and a 3/4 hose. I wanted to buy a 100ft but I won't until they make it in 3/4. I'll keep the 50' hose I purchased since I don't need that much water volume to water the plants, but I wouldn't use it with my pressure washer. ... show more

I love this hose! I’m glad I spent the money on it. It’s the perfect length and it is kink resistant. It’s very easy to put away and has so far, been tangle resistant. Super durable hose.

Wow, I love my new hose. It is so lightweight, easy to maneuver and puts out lots of water. It is easy to put away as well. My watering time on our hot mornings and evenings has decreased significantly. I cannot believe it has 3 layers and it must weigh just ounces. I did not realize it was made in China, however it is distributed by an American company that I have contacted to register the warranty. I have not heard back from them yet but it’s been less than 24 hours since I contacted them asking how to register it. The included nozzle is great, however, that is the piece that may break I think. Also, the box states there are warnings with this hose concerning contaminants. It does not say to wear gloves so I am thinking it has to do with drinking from the hose. I hope it is not from handling the hose. It’s too expensive, however, looking on line, all hoses seem to be extraordinarily expensive now. Without a doubt, this is the very best watering hose I have ever had. If I needed to replace my front yard watering hose I would purchase another one of these. Oh, I don’t like the black color. I thought it was dark green but in person it appears black which makes it look like a long crawly thing in my yard. ... show more

OMG, after 2 different hoses that literally hosed me up! I mean they kinked, leaked, and made me crazy trying to wrap it up on my holder. This hydrosteel garden hose is the real deal, now mind you I have only used it over the long labor day weekend 2024, and it work very well. No kinks, no leaks, and after emptying the water out of the line as the directions indicate, it wraps around the holder with out any tweaking, twerking, and any other gyrations to unravel it to get it right. So I highly recommend this hose, so far it works as designed. This is the 1st "As seen on TV" product I have ever bought... JT RnR ... show more
