The media could not be loaded. Nice compact smart garden with 15 plants possible at a time. The attached grow lights are perfect and compliment the darker room the garden calls home. I was very pleased with the GreeHealth Hydroponics Growing System, which came with everything needed to get started growing plants plants at home indoors (except the seeds). Setup was easy given the well-written users’ manual. The system has two growing modes: Vegetables and Plants, plus a pump on/off. The pump is very quiet, I could barely tell when it is running. The pump cycles automatically when turned on. The kit also includes two plant foods which are added based on the amount of water utilized. After filling the tank with water and adding the plant food, all that is needed is to insert the cone-shaped growing modules, place a few seeds in each, then place a small cap (also provided) on top. ... show more

    • Water base in the smaller side
Product works well and comes with all supplies. My only complaint is the water base doesn't hold as much water as my other tanks. Probably best for growing herbs. I grew, greens, tomatoes, herbs, and peas. Tomatoes not appropriate as roots grow too big for tank. Shoot for plants with short roots.

easiest time starting my plants ever ... add water seeds and turn on, too easy! no sewing seeds, no transplanting seedlings, would grow in kit if small plant , light is perfect, easy care and set up, loved it.

    • Pump Failed
There is a design defect as the roots infiltrate the pump that causes the water to aerate. In my case the pump quit working during the second use. Also, the pods are smaller than other brands so it is difficult to find replacement pods after you use the ones that come with the unit. Although you can buy pods and cut them to fit. I love this grow station, it has a really massive light to grow some healthy plants, plenty of seed sockets, good and steady pump flow, this thing is fantastic! My seeds haven't grown yet but if the build quality of this thing is any factor, my seeds will grow perfectly fine! :D

I love this product! I had been trying to germinate and then use the wet paper towels to grow my seeds and they all died When I used this I got an 85% success rate and now I have actual plants growing outside. So easy to use and such fun to watch them grow.

    • Pods are very small
Great hydroponic system, but the pods are very small, the well is shallow. I am replacing an Aerogarden that went bad, and have seed pods left from that that are about an inch longer and quite a bit wider, so do not fit in this unit.. I took the sponges out and cut them down to put in the baskets that came with this, but don't know how I will replace the pods once I use up the ones that came with the unit, because all the replacement sponge/basket systems I have shopped for say "compatible with Aerogarden"?? Any suggestions? ... show more
