This is a quality grow tent system. The tent fabric is thick and durable with heavy duty stitching and no light bleed. It has a heavy duty zipper that should last a long time. There are plenty of access ports for different venting schemes and routing power cables in/out of the tent. The frame is solid also. I had a missing frame part that was sent to me after several emails with Jenny/Spider Farmer customer service. This missing part didn't prevent me from setting up the tent and I have to compliment and thank Jenny on her continued communication throughout the process. All of the electronic components are working correctly and my plants are loving the SF2000 LED grow light. I recommend installing a fan to blow across the top side of the LED panel/driver to supercharge the passive cooling. This should help ensure the longevity of the panel/driver. The temperature humidity controller is a nice upgrade over the standard manual fan speed control. The fan can be triggered to run at 10 different speeds via high/low temperature and/or high/low humidity setpoints. It can be run in manual mode also. The fan moves the air effectively and isn't abnormally loud at maximum speed. I saw many pictures/videos of people mounting a fan controller on the outside of their tent by poking holes though the tent for the cabling and using screws to attach the controller to a piece of wood backing inside of the tent. I didn't relish the idea of poking holes in my brand new tent so I mounted the controller to the outside with heavy duty Velcro tape and ran the fan control and temperature humidity sensor cables over the top of the tent into the back center top port. This arrangement is neat and the temperature humidity sensor cable is long enough to reach the floor of the tent. I have had the tent for two months now and everything functions correctly and I expect this to last a long time. I highly recommend this Spider Farmer 4x2 SF-2000 grow tent system. ... show more

We have been fairly happy with our tent. The shell is a bit tricky to get over the frame, but otherwise assembly is pretty straightforward. We did just have two connector pieces completely snap at their weld seam - but i contacted their customer support and replacement parts have been sent. The light seems like good quality - we have had success growing several plants with it so far. The fan is a little on the loud side and makes a weird high frequency humming noise when it’s on lower speeds - but it lives in our basement now so it no longer bothers us. THE LIGHT IS VERY BRIGHT AND CONTROLLABLE FROM 0%(OFF) TO 100% BRIGHTNESS. LONG AGO I USED TO HAVE A VOTREX CENTRIFUGAL FAN, THE SPIDER FARMER ONE IS SO QUIET COMPARED TO THAT, I WOULD GUESS SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 5-10X QUIETER. THAT IS VERY WELCOME :) ... show more

Came with defective writing reads "SPIDER FARME", an embarrassing eye sore. Assembly instructions weren't great. Still had to figure my own way of dressing the frame and it was a bit of a pain alone. The frame is very thin and unsturdy on its own, until you dress it with the tent. No instructions for inline fan and carbon filter. 4" duct provided does not fit the carbon filter. Carbon filter doesn't fit directly into the inline fan. I had to tape it like crazy and hope it's sealed. Also unclear what the purple straps are on the side and inside door. Appears it's to keep door open but no velcro. So door does not stay open, and gets in your way constantly when working inside. Pin holes are there but they include patches. Zipper so far is good, had it 2 weeks now and it's fine so far. Gets caught here or there but that's probably the way I'm doing it. Not sure if the included 5ga fabric pots have good drainage and air flow. The water runs out the sides more than the bottom. No storage mesh, but I put most of my stuff on top. Plenty of exits for your accessories and wires. Not sure about the recommended SF2000 light heights and dimming. Light has new edition daisychain and dim knob. Timer and inline fan's controller works fine, I have it set medium. Did not receive Trellis Plant Netting in package. Can't comment on harvests yet. Update: The power switch on the light does not work now only a month after use. To turn off the light I must unplug it. Also a lot of light holes, the whole zipper let's light in. Just to let you know the price jumped a hundred dollars more. Definitely not buying another from SF. Update 2: Now the Mechanical Timer is malfunctioning. It reaches its turn on point and gets stuck and does not turn on until I forcefully skip it passed manually. ... show more
