Good quality tent for the price. Had some light leaks but those are easily repaired. I like the sipper, it's heavy duty and doesn't get stuck badly like some do. It doesn't have handles on the sipper from the inside though. You might think the frame connections are cheap plastic, but they are solid, I think more so than steel. The only thing that bugs me is the height of the doors. It's an un-natural step to get in and out (too high). Tripped a few times at first but I'm getting used to it. ... show more

I reviewed a lot of grow tents here before deciding on the Zazzy 48"x48"x78". For the size this was about the lowest price tent that had enough reviews in the high range for me to be comfortable with, so I was depending of those reviews. I'm just a beginner grower and I'm starting out on getting the cheapest decent setup I can get started with but I wanted a tent large enough that I wouldn't need another to keep up with as much as I want and can legally grow. For me, that's 6 plants for each of the 3 stages. This tent can do that but I'll probably only be doing 4 at a time until I get some experience. The tent took about an hour to assemble by myself and that was really pretty easy to do. I'm pretty good at putting stuff like this together and I wasn't in a hurry to get it done. Assembling the frame is very simple and easy. Getting the tent on the frame is by far the toughest part, and it would be good to have someone help with that, but I didn't have any problems getting that done myself. I took my time and gently worked it around the frame and it fit perfectly when I was finished. The top of the tent is only about 2 inches from the ceiling of the room it's in so I had to build the frame and then put the tent on the frame while it was standing up. Had I tried to put canvas on while the frame was lying on it's side I would have to take it apart again and stand it up in the room and reassemble it. Someone else mentioned that here in a previous review and I'm grateful they did. I read other reviews here saying the zippers didn't work well for them but all the zippers work fine on the one I got. I may rub a bit of bar soap on them to lubricate them a bit but since they all worked fine I don't think I really need to do that. Looks to me like as long as you're gentle with those zippers they will last a very long time. All the seams are very well sewed. The tent fabric is heavy duty and the reflective material inside the tent seems to be plenty good enough for the job. I put two small LED grow lights in it and they lit it up pretty well. I'll need more lights soon but for now those will get me started. The window on the front panel is pretty handy to take a peek inside. The two side panel accesses will make it very easy to do any trimming or other work you want to do. The large front panel makes it super easy to get inside and move stuff around and clean things up. The "water proof tray" for the floor of the tent fits great and is very easy to install. It looks and feels like it should last a long time too. I don't need a filter for the smell. No one lives close enough to me for that to be a problem for anyone and I have a window behind the tent I can use to push air outside if it gets too smelly inside and the tent has a outlet perfectly placed on the upper back wall to make that easy. And I'll add that the tent I got has no light leaks at all. None. Not even on the zippers. I've heard others complain about that with these tents so I expected I would see some. That wouldn't have really bothered me because it's not in my bedroom, but I saw none at all when I turned off the lights in the room at night and it was pitch black inside the room. One thing that might be causing zipper snags and light leaks is not having the seals behind the zipper lined up correctly. The access panels have a longer seal than the wall panels and that longer seal should be behind the wall seal on the inside of the tent. And if you have in on the outside of the wall seal you could snag the zipper on it and that could muck up the plastic tines on the zipper. You really do not want to do that. So make sure every time you zip it up that seal is where it should be all the way around it as you go. So I have no complaints at all and I expect this tent will last many years for me. For the money I spent I am very happy with this tent and have no problem at all recommending it for the casual home grower. The only things I'll add are if you have no experience assembling stuff like this ask a friend who does for help and take your time. Like I said, it took me about an hour, and I'm pretty good at this kind of stuff. And be gentle with those zippers. ... show more

I bought the 24x24x48 tent. It's not a walk in tent, but you can probably hang it if you don't want to kneel down to work in it. I bought it for a mushroom fruiting chamber (Oyster/Lions Mane), and to keep fruit flies/gnats from growing on it. A couple of days in, and I haven't seen a single bug in the tent. I added a full time fan for the top vent, and between the side port scrunchies, I put old shirts in there that I was going to use as shop rags - these will act as a filter. The tent has windows on the front and left side, just enough light seems to be entering for the mushrooms to know which direction to grow (up). If I outgrow this tent, I'll buy a larger tent of the same brand - as this is an incredible product for the price. ... show more

Very good tent. Very durable. Have set it up and taken it down several times. No rips. Easy to assemble. I've done it every time by myself. Like most tents there is a little light leak , but nothing that cannot be solved by some fabric and Velcro or just duct tape and foil tape for the inside. I do wish it had a port opening on the very top of it. I highly recommend it to anyone who's on a tight budget wanting to start indoor growing. ... show more

I have set up numerous mfgs tents, from cheap to expensive. upon unpackaging, it was simple to key in on the lack of packaging by the noise the poles were making. most mfg's are using plastic pieces to snap the tubes into so that they remain separated and don't chip the powder coat on each other in shipping. MY POLES WERE ALLRIGHT, BUT..... I was impressed with the plastic unions for the poles. seem to be high quality and beefy. the structure went up quickly. the tent itself is all black except for the company logo. I don't understand why hardly any tents have a cable chase on the front of the tent in order to wire and mount a controller, this tent was no different. it has a lot of cool little features though, reinforced gear pouch, hooked strap on both doors and d ring on the side of tent to secure doors open and out of the way. canvas and zippers seem to be of decent quality, it will take time to see how they hold up. ... show more

Great grow tent size for the price, but it smelled funny when I opening it from the packaging like fish oil odor but went away after 2 weeks, set up was easy, but the viewing windows aren’t really useful because the plastic window is warted and have indentations from reflective material. It retains noise from the fans and humidifier and dehumidifier. It has 10 ventilations access soo súper convenient if you have monitoring systems to regulate the environment. The outside sturdy and thick and inside material feels thick and durable not soo reflective as my other grow them but pretty good overall grow tent. ... show more
