I am a 60-year old woman, and although this is not my first indoor garden tent, I found this kit incredibly easy to set up. I had no help, and although I confess there was some salty talk and several cats got yelled at for “helping,” it took me under an hour from unboxing to indoor growing. The tent is nice and heavyweight, there are adequate ports for cords, and it tucks nicely into the corner of my guest room where it is out of sight. I use zip ties to hang the fan, not the included ropes, and honestly think zip ties are faster and easier. For me the hardest part was wiggling the ducting on to the filter and clamping it. But I got it done (no thanks to my cat). The fan is very quiet. The light spans the entire width of the tent and most of the depth. I started my plants outdoors in the blazing hot southern sun. So I went straight to 100% light and 18/6 for the timer. Get this kit if you want to grow a couple of plants—but understand this is just a tool. I haven’t used it yet but I really like it I’m a licensed electrician and and I know a little about lights & electrical work I’m in the process of remodeling my bedroom and half bath where I will have a special spot built just for my tent & the electrical wired right just to run my grow equipment on a dedicated circuit that way everything will be on a timer and proper ventilation above it , But I like it I unboxed it and it seems to be good quality I really like the light , Where can I get information or a diagram of the set up of the exhaust fans and lights for the The Mars Hydro grow tent instructions about the heights you should run your grow lights and filter layout please send me some information. It would be nice if my you could send me a pair of the glasses for my tent and a bag of the Root Starter for purchasing my tent I would appreciate it I spent $379.00? I didn’t understand yesterday I seen it advertised on here complete Mars Hydro Kit 27by27by63 just like the one I purchased for only $49.00 dollars was this correct I’m curious I wish I could have got that price I couldn’t believe it but so far I’m very happy with my Mars Hydro tent and light I just need a diagram and any way you could send me items I ask for I thought they come with my Mars Hydro Kit . The Mars Hydro 2.3x2.3 grow tent is great for typical applications where outdoor growing just won't go. It can also be used well for preseason clone training. The package ships with the tent, metal poles and connectors, a duct fan with about 30 feet of ducting and the Mars Hydro TS1000 light. OVERALL - Due to missing some window covers, low quality duct fan and poor instructions I would say this product is a 4/5 with a can improve rating. I am sure users would rather pay $50 more to get a better fan and instructions than to worry about the cheap one that comes in the box. However, the quality is great, yield is great and overall it is highly worth the money as I have already doubled my overall investment with my first grow. PROS: POTENTIAL YIELD - I was able to yield about 9 ounces of high grade cannabis from 2 plants that I intentionally kept small for monster cropping. I could have easily doubled my yield if the plants were allowed to grow differently. TENT REFLECTIVENESS - The material of the tent is highly reflective and adds about 20% more light from the walls than if it is not in a tent. I used a light meter to test these numbers. ZIPPER QUALITY - This tent has a high quality zipper unlike its competitors, this zipper should last several seasons and if properly cared for several years. LIGHT CONTROL - The TS1000 is a great light for this size tent and features dimmable switches, daisy chaining and night metal hangers. I would recommend upgrading to a TS2000 if you want insane yields. PRE SEASON GROW TENT - This tent is great for indoor grows but I also employ a second tent (4x4) for my preseason training. I take my clones around April and grow them controlled in the tent where I can properly train them and prep them for wind, HEAT, etc then come June 1st I place them outside to finish off. I estimate about 1.5 lbs per plant outdoor by end of harvest thanks to my pre season growing and prep. CONS: FAN - I found the fan was not to my standards and replaced it with a upgraded low sound digital ducting fan, the one that ships is low quality, loud and did not circulate enough air. INSTRUCTIONS - The in box instructions are poor and do not provide much information on setting up your tent. However I have set up tents before so I was able to set this up in about 20-30 minutes without any tools. Customer support - I reached out to customer support as the product I received was missing the bottom velcro windows, 4 months later I have not heard back. ... show more

i am a first time grower and i like this tent. gave me almost all of what i needed.. you will still need a a fan for the inside, and a humidifier or dehumidifier.. for newbies- i should have only used two grow bags, not all four. two plants will be snug in here when done. i saw one autoflower in a 3x3, after i had established my own plants and they were growing, that took up most of the tent. one grow bag will be comfy in this size tent. If you need to worry about light leakage, i would not get this tent, the seams leak light all over the place. ... show more
