Just got this. I don’t like to review bad products, but honestly, this elbow does not fit a regular 1/2 inch poly tube. It’s too small and seems like even if it’s crimped it wouldn’t work. I’m so disappointed cause I’ve been waiting and couldn’t get 1/2 inch elbows at Lowes, they were out. All the Ts and straights I got at Lowes fit perfectly to my 1/2 inch poly irrigation tube for auto watering my garden but this elbow, just plopped in right away and had extra space. This company seems to have their custom fittings that one would have to keep buying from them to fit their products, cause it’s not standard fitting. ... show more

These took quite a bit of effort to install on the half inch tubing. At first I wasn't able to get them to go into the tubing. Then I found that if you heated the tubing up with a match or some other flame source the tubing was flexible enough to allow one to get these elbows installed.

I read mixed reviews about these elbow connectors before my purchase, but decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did. I used them to eliminate potential kinks in 1/2" PVC tubing used with a submersible pump and a fountain in my outdoor pond. These were a perfect match with the tubing I'd purchased and provide a snug, water tight fit and they were exactly what I needed to make my installation as clean as possible.
