  • Outstanding first burn
Color: Black-LOGO
The media could not be loaded. Everything was packaged great, no missing pieces, nothing bent, dinged, paint finish was quality First burn was great it consumed everything I put in twigs, leaves, split logs to ashes and was swept into the collection pan at the bottom. The build is heavy, it’s not for backpacking, more for legit camping or off grid cabin. First burn was hot! It didn’t chip the stainless steel exhaust pipe turned bronze and blue, but smoke exhausted only out the top, and generated a lot heat. Everything was already assembled other than attachment of the stove pipes for exhaust. Super solid build, I will be buying 1 more. ... show more

  • little heavy
Color: Black
its heavy but good stoves actually need to be. shelves on the side are really useful for keeping things next to stove. keep coffee warm an such. i turned the pipe colors the first burn, but its pretty now. it really puts out the heat, so be careful what's next to pipe an such. lil bit of building required, but once you get it your ready to go. it had a few problems i fixed before using. the glass in the door was loose and the pipe connector to the stove leaked both of which i fixed getting some sealant, just make sure its high temp. overall i love this stove. after watching some camping vids on youtube and seeing how flimsy they are im glad i got this one, its really tougher and lots cheaper than those. some of which were 500.00 dollars or more . i believe this will last a long time. ... show more

  • Doesn’t throw off enough heat
Color: Black-LOGO
This stove is so cute, almost looks like a toy! I bought it for my Teepee (a real teepee, not a tent teepee), it is way too small to heat that big a space. I burned it first out in my driveway to burn off chemical fumes as suggested. After a few hours, I took it into the teepee and started a fire. The stove pipe did not reach the top of the teepee pole opening but the smoke did go out the top of the teepee without opening the smoke flaps (I ordered 4 more section of pipe). BUT yes smoke leaks from the top removable disk and stove door but not as much as an open fire pit in the middle of the teepee (which I removed because it took up too much floor space and smoked too badly). My teepee has a lining that acts as an insulator and air flow, but this tiny stove does not put out enough heat to even take the chill off inside. It may be good for a small tent or off grid lean to, but it will not work in a real teepee (you’d need a bigger stove for a real teepee but a bigger stove would take up too much floor space). Oh and because of the small space inside, it’s a bear to get started. I found it much easier to load from the top to get it going at first with the front door open. Also the air vent in front is hard to slide back & forth. I’m disappointed but I’ll keep it and keep trying to get it to be more efficient. Perhaps some high heat sealant will work and maybe a seal around the door to eliminate smoke inside the teepee. But it’s definitely does not heat a real teepee in our North Country of NY winters. ... show more

  • Best Hot Tent Stove for the money
Color: Black
You won't find a better hot tent stove, for this price. It comes pretty much 100% assembled, minus the stove pipe of course. It worked great. I just used this product a few weeks ago, and the outside temp was in the 20's and my tent was easily in the low 80's. Yes, you can get better performing stoves, that are much more portable (for backpacking) but you'll spend hundreds more. If this is your first stove, it is a great option. Just make sure you spend a few hours, getting it hot outside of your tent to burn off the oils and other things that come from the factory. ... show more

  • Its cute, its fun, it was not so simple.
Color: Black
My family is a camping family. We are always looking for new items to try and increase the experience and this cute stove absolutely caught out attention. The stove is portable and stores away easily and it is light enough that we didn't need to factor its weight in to our camping trip, but it was also solid enough I did not worry about tightly storing it next to our other gear. The time came for us to use it! The real struggle with had with this was starting it as the same time we were starting our campfire. The small amount of space in there made it difficult to start a fire, it would have been much easier to take a log that was already burning and load that in there to heat up the unit. it took about 4 tires to get a flame to stay when we were building the fire from scratch inside the stove, but eventually we got our coffee. Yes, we got our coffee, peculated out in the high dessert. So, the fact I have any complaints should it was perfectly fine. Not so "user friendly" but easy enough to figure out. 10/10 recommend either a fire starter or already on fire log. ... show more

  • Quality stove, good price
Color: Black
The stove overall is very good for the price. I glued fire retardant rope around the inside of the door to make it a little more airtight, other than that no complaints. Two logs of hardwood will usually burn for about 1-1/2 to 2 hrs producing great heat!
