I bought this laptop a few weeks ago (with warranty). So far it's great. College hasn't started yet so I don't know how well it will work with classes yet. But it works well with streaming Netflix, Hulu, etc and also works very well if you need to stream your PlayStation 4 or XBox One. (Note that when you download the PS4 Remote app, start it up with your PS4 remote, it will take a few try's to connect to your PS4 via Wi-Fi unless its in your own home and make sure your PS4 is already on. Im still working on remotely playing my XBox One and setting that up.) The screen is amazing, computer is fast, very lightweight for on the go. Yes, it is a small screen, but it is not ridiculously small that you can't complete tasks, etc or won't make viewing your games/movies that difficult. This is not a gaming laptop, by the way, but great to stream and the lagging isn't that terrible either. Streaming Netflix, Hulu, etc has no lagging. Great Laptop! ... show more

A good laptop for streaming and taking online classes. Small and very easy to load and take to school and university. The battery is durable and the screen is clear. The only weak point is that its memory is small so you won't be able to save many documents unless you add an expanded memory.

When I received the laptop of course it had the S Mode installed. I switched it to windows 10 and the computer ran super slow after that. It would take 60 seconds to respond to a command, so I started a return. Then I decided to try and uninstall and then reinstall windows and now the computer works perfectly! I run a business with it so I have multiple tabs open at one a couple of software downloads and so far its responding great and its meeting the needs of my business 👍***Update to this review the Laptop shuts off in the middle of using it and takes a couple of hours to turn back on and now after only 8 months of owning this Laptop it has shut down for the last time and will not turn back on. I do not recommend this Laptop👎*** ... show more

Great laptop & value for the price. Got mine for $223 plus tax it came out to $245 plus change. Not bad considering other sellers on amazon had it starting at $250 without tax. It also stated that it wasn't going to be in stock until Jan 12th 2020 , that might of been why it was cheaper since i was ordering before it was in stock. But it ended up coming way before that i purchased it on the 4th & it was shipped & i received it on the 6th. Awesome laptop nice & lightweight. & best of all it's NOT A CHROMEBOOK. You can actually download stuff & it's a real computer w/a real OS. Glad i purchased this instead of another chromebook. Big thumbs up !!! ... show more

It's worthless the moment you down load drivers for your printer and a few other small programs like to donuour TAXES maybe save a few pictures and POW! - CRASH!- BOOM!-BAM!-JUNK-would it have been do hard to make it ever so slightly bigger maybe even thicker? One year after purchasing, there are so many updates that I virtually can't put ANYTHING extra with this computer. Not even an HP printer. Resetting it to factory doesn't work either. There are so many useless things on it that I can't take off (like Microsoft Edge) that nothing else will fit. I bought two of these basic computers so my kids could do a small amount of schoolwork with them, but even that is about impossible with these computers. Took it to computer repair person just in case there was something I missed, but the problem is the device itself being so low in memory. Terrible waste of money. Also - - HP doesn't offer customer support after the one year warranty is up and it is an interesting coincidence that the updates rendered my device useless just after the one year warranty was up. ... show more

I like that it’s small and compact, i didn’t want to lug a big laptop around every day for work. But unfortunately there is absolutely no storage. The storage they say is available is actually almost all used up with what comes on the computer already never mind the updates that come soon after. Even with using an external usb storage it tells me every day it’s full. Can’t even have too many tabs open or it slows all the way down and tells you it can’t open another page. ... show more
