This little buggy runs!! They advertise it as coming with the 3S battery but mine came with 2 2S batteries. My 5 year old son likes to take it to the skate park and let it fly. He has ran it into multiple concrete walls at full speed and still looks like new. We also have 2 of the 1:16 scale hiboxing trucks and they are also built very well for the money. The hiboxing models you can really dial back the speed control for a kid to Play safely with as for the buggy I am writing the review on you only have the option of 70% power or full power. WOULD HIGHLY Recommend for a budget truck. ... show more

I don't rate or review much, how ever this thing is well worth the money! I ran the 2 stick battery's and 2 bigger battery through it, back to back and ran it hard! Never any issues or worries! The ecm and motor did get pretty hot, but again I ran 4 batteries through it without issues!

reverse works sometimes, and sometimes it just goes in reverse. Mostly revere doesnt work at all. So disappointed with my first real rc car. Feel like I wasted my money. Way too much walking to unstuck it. Fine if upside down, but when reverse doesn't work.... Probably will send it back

I received my car late yesterday and took it out for a test drive. I would not recommend this car unless you are an experienced RC driver. When taking off from a stop I have to be extremely careful to avoid going sideways or doing donuts and sometimes flipping the car over (not a wheelie back-flip) from the power it has at the wheels. I ran through both battery packs this morning at a big empty parking lot and I am impressed at how quick this little beast is!!! The only thing I don't like is the delay when going from reverse to forward. When stopped and I hit the throttle, the response is instant. So with that said, I can live with it. My other concern is the plastic housing differentials. Out of the box the rear diff would almost bind and the front didn't turn as smooth as it should. I found an all metal diff on Amazon and ordered them. I was going to disassemble and lube them but now I'll wait for the all metal ones, the housing is metal too. I'm not picking on this car about the plastic diffs. I have a 1/16 scale brushless car made by a popular brand and it has plastic diff housings. I have already replaced the ft and rear diffs twice each, where my 1/10 scale car of the same brand has metal housing diffs. I've had the car 2 years now and still have the factory differentials with no problems. Now for the positives- looks, I love the way it looks, reminds me of an Indy 500 or Formula 1 style car or an Aarma Typhon-performance, FAST- handling/cornering, very good as long you're not going too fast - battery life, about 15 to 20 min for each one. The shocks are real oil filled which I feel is just as important on an RC car as a real car. This car looks well built and easy to work on. I like the adjustable steering tie rods. By the way, my car came with two 2S batteries. I can't imagine what it will be like with 3S batt!! I have a couple 3S batteries but they're not going in this car until I get used to driving this hot rod with the 2S. I have 2 other Hosim vehicles and am pleased with customer service. they took care of all my concerns with my 9155 and 9156. Hosim's customer service is why I bought this car branded by Hosim. The same car is sold under a few different brand names but I'm sticking with Hosim due to their good customer service. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fast brushless car under $140. Great bang for your buck!! UPDATE June 19 2023, I have had my car out several times and each time was loads of fun! I'm impressed at how well built and sturdy this car is. When examining it closely the detail looks like a high priced car, not a less than $150 car. It is built with precision yet it is as tough as a tank. Totally happy with my purchase and might buy another vehicle based on this chassis, mainly because of the reliability. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! ... show more
