Perfect replacement for fireplace fan. Plug and play, kept all originally wiring and works perfect. The fan is the only thing in the box, you will need double sided tape, velcro or fasten to fireplace box with your own screws.

Was a pain to install The installation instructions were useless and no videos online so I just stumbled through it. In the end its actually not hard to install if you know how. I have a Avalon Newport Bay pellet stove and this is the perfect replacement. The branded version cost a hundred dollars more and the original had a design flaw where the pivot point of the fan on the opposite side was only riveted in thin aluminum with no support. This aftermarket fan has a thicker fan blade cage and a cross support that keeps the motor and fan blade stable and balanced so the pivot point doesn't break loose again from the rivet. This balanced design also makes a smoother sounding fan noise. Is isn't whisper quiet, but smooth and comfortable to hear. It also moves more air. The challenge was in the installation. The motor was turned in the cage, so that it hit the pellet stove preventing it from being flush. This was easy to remedy, by turning the motor mounting tabs to the release position and rotating the motor connections back one space in the mounting position. The other challenge was that the motor cage assembly had tack welded points that stuck out, causing the fan to be an eighth inch wider and prevented the exaust position from inserting into the opening of the heat exchanger. This was remedied by using a round file on the mounting bracket end that inserted into the rubber grommets on the far end of the stove. By filing about a sixteenth inch off of each mounting slit, so that the motor would insert far enough to allow the exhaust port end to work it's way into the exchanger opening. All in all, the mounting brackets swapped perfectly and it took little adjustment to save a lot of money and I believe a better designed fan that won't leave you spending more money on another flawed fan design as the original. My Avalon Newport Bay pellet stove blower went out 2 years ago, bought the $160 replacement blower and it lasted a whole 2 years, was just about to grudgingly buy another when I scrolled down and found this gas fireplace blower that looked identical to mine for $21.99, after reading a review from a happy pellet stove customer who replaced his with this one, I bought it hoping he was correct with it being able to fit with very minor adjustments (file the two mounting holes 1/8” bigger on one side) received the blower, did the adjustments, installed it easily, turned it on, works better than the original blower, and saved myself $130!!!!! ... show more

For the price I can't complain too much. We got two solid years out of the fan without any issues. In the last few weeks it started squeaking and making a ton of extra noise (its never been remotely quiet as far as fan noise goes) and about a week ago it shot a huge ball of smoke out of the fireplace and promptly descended into the gates of hell. Ordered another with hopeful anticipation for the the firework show sometime late 2022. ... show more

Fit perfectly fine in my Enviro 2100 Wood Stove Kodiac model. Replaced Enviro Convection Fan 115v EC-069 at 1/4 the cost. These fans seem to last about 3 years. Will see how long this one lasts.
