IPL technology sounded pretty awesome. I was a perfect candidate for it, being a dark natural brunette with fair skin. I quickly found out that all the devices being talked up on social media were not devices within my price range. This one was! Finding an IPL device at such a great value had me skeptical, but I trusted the reviews and went for it. I am SO glad that I did! This device works wonders if you keep up with it exactly as instructed. No, it will not magically make you completely hairless in one session. It WILL, however, gradually eliminate more and more hair growth with every treatment. Within the first week, I had less hair growth overall in all areas treated. What did grow back grew in as finer hairs, making them even easier to shave with less irritation. Follow the instructions, keep up with the regimen, make sure to moisturize after treatment, and pair this up with your shaving routine and you’ll begin to see permanent results in no time. For the money you’ll save on razors or waxing treatments, this IPL device at this price point is the holy grail. If you’re a good candidate for IPL, try this. It's certainly the quality of it's price, but I expected that. It's a little odd to hold and use. Also, when using, it tends to freak out a little. Due to what I presume is an overheating protection, the device shuts off, but only for a couple of seconds. You can keep using it, but it will keep doing that every couple of blasts. Along with that, I'm not terribly confident that the protective glasses are up to spec. If you're paranoid and don't want to hold your hand over your eyes every blast, I'd buy a pair of laser goggles, just to be safe. So far, it's too early to say it's working, but I'll see how it goes. ... show more

This seems to work great for hair removal. Regular and repeated uses are required for more permanent results, but so far we have noticed that it is working as expected. Quality seems to be good and we appreciate the included extras. Know that this isn't a one-and-done treatment option for hair, but it should work if you keep up with treatment.
