    • Honda Reliability and Fuel Efficient Too….
It’s hard to beat a Honda product for quality and reliability. The Eco mode is great for saving fuel, and the generator runs much quieter if you aren’t pulling a lot of Amps. The generator also has a great app with BlueTooth connectivity so you can monitor your generator’s performance and keep tabs on when routine maintenance is required. Honda generators aren’t cheap, as you could buy similar capacity units for 50-60% of the cost. I just like Honda quality. When I need a generator, I don’t want to take my chances on a less reliable unit. Been there, done that, lesson learned. You do need to pay attention to the maintenance requirements and short/longer term storage procedures, regardless of what generator you buy. After going without power due to Helene I decided to invest in backup power. I searched around for 13,000 watt generators and finally decided on the little honda, mostly because finding enough fuel to run a big generator is a problem. I'm happy I went with the honda, it's very manageable, easy to maintain and has a record of being very reliable. I live in FL and this generator has came in so handy. Works like a charm, light weight and easy to store. It can power an 8000btu floor AC unit, 48in TV, PS5, cell phones, the internet router and a few lights no problem. It can power the fridge too just not with the floor AC unit at the same time. But I have an ecoflow delta max solar battery and that can power the fridge for like 16 hours. I just go without the AC for a couple of hours and recharge the battery (charges faster on the generator than solar). ... show more

I bought this as a backup generator for on-the-road office use. In the new mobile-business economy, one can be anywhere and still work, so long as there is a cell signal and power for things like printers and chargers. This particular generator is powerful enough to run the air conditioning on my small camp trailer (after I installed a soft start kit, that is), which means I can handle video hearings without breaking a sweat. The generator is not light, but it very light for the amount of power you get. The same with the sound. It is actually extremely quiet and varies the rpm according to the power demand. You need reliable power when the chips are down. This little generator will recharge my house battery in a long emergency! Quiet is its number 1 feature. Gas consumption number 2. This is a pretty cool tool that I don't want to be caught without.
