I used this receiver to lift a trailer hitch carrier high enough to clear the exhaust gases from the engine. I loaded the carrier with 400 lbs of household items and drove from New England to Florida. The receiver performed without problems. I suggest purchasing an anti rattle hitch tightener to keep the connections between the trailer hitch, the hitch adapter and the item attached from jostling excessively. ... show more
