I bought a pair these pillows based on the positive reviews from other buyers. I had found it hard to believe that such quality could be had for such a low price, but I also figured there wasn't much to lose. My expectations took a tumble when the package was delivered. No box. It was basically a fat envelope. Inside I found two evacuated plastic bags that looked like they had been run over by a semi, all 18 wheels. I cut one open, and the mass started to swell. In a couple hours, it had achieved the general shape of a pillow but not a very attractive one. I was pretty disappointed. But after 4 hours it had plumped up and smoothed out enough that I wanted to sleep on it the first night. Well, I was sold! All those positive reviewers were right. This is a very comfortable and supportive pillow that only got better over the next few days. Get one! I mean two! ... show more

First: I'm really NOT a fan of memory foam. That being said, these pillows are actually the most comfortable I've had, second only to my grandmother's goose down pillows (when I was little). I've had them just about a month, and they've held up well under regular use. They also reshape themselves, so (unlike my grandmother's pillows) there's no need to "fluff" them to get them to look full. I was tempted to remove one star for the packaging, but the more I thought about other options, the more I realised it was simply the way to package them so that they take up as little room as possible (beneficial when shipping by volume, and likely one factor that results in the relatively low price for this item). Though I should like some frustration-free packaging, I doubt highly it would hold up to the rigours of transportation. ... show more

The shredded foam used last year was really nice and soft and even firm to a point where your head is supported perfectly while you sleep. now the 2 extra pillows I received this weekend have completely different shredded foam which seems to be cheaper. Also when you unzip the pillow cover and get to the part where you can unzip the other cover where the foam is no longer is there. so they are using cheaper shredded foam and a cheaper cover to where the foam is and you can no longer unzip the second cover to see the foam. but I can easily tell that they are using different and cheaper foam which isn't true memory foam. their new blend is too fluffy and the pillows are floppy and too soft. the old ones i bought 1 year ago are heavy pillows that are true memory foam which your head molds into perfectly and are amazing. these new ones they are making aren't worth it. In one picture you can see the cover with different colored cheap foam and the other picture with the green and white thick premium quality shredded memory foam. The other pictures show how the old ones are thick and firm and moldable for you head and the other 2 are floppy because they use cheaper shredded foam. They need to use the shredded foam they used last year! it was really good! Now they are not true memory foam pillows anymore due to changing from premium shredded foam to cheap shredded foam. ... show more

this pillow set arrived totally squished flat and in a cardboard box even though i had requested that they be shipped in their original, clear plastic packaging only. a bit tedious but not a deal breaker as i absolutely love them. when i removed the pillows from the package, they puffed up right away considerably. they are firm enough to offer sufficient support but also soft enough to provide fluffy comfort. highly recommend! ... show more
