It took about half an hour for us to unbox and assemble this 4x4. The only tool needed that wasn't included was a Phillips screwdriver. It also takes AAA batteries for the remote control and AA batteries for the light bar, but the vehicle works perfectly well without either of those. The main battery is built in and cannot easily be removed for charging. The windshield frame snaps in with no screws but comes loose if you pull on it. Soft start works well, and the bands of rubber around the middle of each wheel add good traction on smooth surfaces. I wish there were a battery level indicator. Most importantly, the kid loves it! He was immediately whizzing up and down the grassy hill, looping around trees and behind the shed, and giving his friends rides. Two young children fit easily. ... show more

Bought this for my grandkids. The headlights quit working shortly after and now the gas pedal is sticking, and now motor making noise. Can't find a number to reach anyone and to late to return.

Overall it's pretty good. The doors are hard to open and close. Battery lasts long, good speed. Ours is beat hard I live on a steep hill and we have taken it on atv trails. When it's cold the motor make some loud squealing sounds like the motor brake is stuck on. And the battery life indicator is not accurate. But in 4wd it will do anything you need. But this thing is massive! My little one is beyond the word phrase having fun. So this thing to assemble was a bit of a headache. There are so many parts there's a little overwhelming. But finally after a good 45 hour minutes everything got put together and it was very nice. Did have to run to the store to buy a new batteries it does not come with batteries. For the remote. The remote also is extremely easy to understand and use. So this thing's a little heavy for its weight it does go pretty fast for how heavy it is. It is more the pricier Power Wheels but you're able to have more weight in this thing so this one can be for the older children.
