Update: The company reached out to me and and shipped me new ink! The install worked much better, it still says on my computer that it is "non HP" but it prints immediately. I haven't noticed any streakiness as of yet Great! I applaud the company for getting in touch with me!     • Works for my HP!
So far, this off brand ink cartridge works well with my HP 6600 printer. I haven’t used the color cartridges as yet (printed black and white), so I’ll have to update after using color. I’m currently satisfied with my purchase for the price!

REVISION! 1) I forgot to remove the little plastic-wrap cover from one of the ink cartridges, so that must be what caused the problem! Once I removed it, everything has printed great- colors are right, properly saturated, clean lines, just like the expensive HP ink. 2) StarInk (the seller) contacted me via email after I left the bad review and kindly offered to send a replacement at no charge. I replied that it wasn't necessary because I was sure it wouldn't help, but they insisted. Because of their insistence, I tried the original cartridge again, which is when I discovered I had left the cover over hole on one of the ink cartridges. Once I removed it, the printing was great. I didn't even need to clean the heads. I appreciate their quick and kind response to my problem! Great job on your customer service StarInk!!! Previous review: I figured it was a risk to try a cheap ink. If I only printed black it would be fine. The colors print terrible, outlines aren't bad, but thick lines and blocks come out striped, faded and mixed. I tried two MS programs (word, publisher), and even converted to PDF, but that was even worse. The pic is blurry because I didn't want to show my business info, but it's supposed to be a white (no ink) background, and the solid color is supposed to be purple, not pink. I have an HP officejet 6600, and have always had great quality with the HP inks. Too bad this didn't work for me, because HP ink is so expensive!!! ... show more

    • Incorrect fit, didn’t work long
I have used other generic ink cartridges before, and had no issues. As far as these, initially I used the yellow, and it did not fit properly l, even though it was the correct replacement. I was able to get it to work eventually. Then I started using the blue as well, and now within two months of using, and a very limited amount of printing, the cartridges are registering as “full” on the printer but they are printing the incorrect colors. I realized this when I went to print Christmas labels and nothing came out green or red. I printed a test page and discovered it was the two cartridges I purchased here that were the issue.     • Great price but quality isn’t the greatest
The printer complains about these ink cartridges not being compatible but they work. The quality isn’t great because printing leaves streaks and the yellow cartridge had black ink in it.

    • Colors are dark and muddy 7612
So my hp officejet 7612 except the cartridges which is good and the black ink works fine however the color comes out dark and muddy and I clean the heads inst and over. Alignment was done also. Still couldn't get the colors to come out right. Have to return.
