  • Great Bass Enhancer / Line Driver
Style: Bass Enhancement Processor
This does a good job at boosting signal (up to 4v on full range and 9v on subwoofer out). It definitely helped bring to life the lower end bass that is reduced by the factory amp of my car. This can bring a boost to a helpful frequency range, but of course it is akin to a wide single EQ band and does not allow for multi frequency tweaking like a 30 band EQ might. It excels at taking a weak signal from the head unit subwoofer speaker wire (or unpowered line converter) and boosting it for maximum output. This does a good job and is cost effective. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Works good!
Style: Bass Enhancement Processor
I've never heard how an epicenter sounds like, but from what this little thing puts out, I can't imagine it can get that much better. I did before and afters with it hooked up and without and there is a huge difference with the bass. It does "create" bass or whatever the science is behind it, but I'm all for it. I can't see myself having a sound system without this now and especially at this price. The only con really, is that I couldn't figure out how to get the Output signal light to light up at all. The Input was no problem, but the Output never did light up, but I honestly don't think it's an issue as it does its job 🤷♂️ 5/5 for me, would def buy again. If you're thinking about this vs an epicenter, just try this out, honestly. I'm glad I did!! ... show more

  • Sound quality and massive BASS
Style: Bass Enhancement Processor
The hifonics BXIPRP3.0 Is the way to go if your in the market for a bass restorer. Clean sound, infact it removes a slight whine I had previous to installing this unit. I've tried 3-4 bass restorers in the past and this is my favorite. If you don't already have one then this thing is gonna put you on another level, I have a kicker cxa400.1 and a sundown E10D2 and just with that amount of power it's really too much bass unless you wanna go deaf, 2 minutes and you can't take any more, and it's smooth bass too. The remote I haven't figured out all the way yet, you have to press in the knob and click it to activate something, if it's not clicked then something is bypassed, so make sure you mess with that and understand how that functions, also it's like 2 knobs in 1, has 2 turners on it. ... show more

  • It more than works!
Style: Bass Enhancement Processor
This thing is awesome! The lows come to life with a vengeance. It will take some tuning to get what you need out of it but once you get to that sweet spot, it's game over. I replaced my old bass cube due to the bass knob malfunctioning. This unit actually gets an A+ because of the easy tuning. You have to get the right frequency down and make sure that you widen the width so your system doesn't sound like it's a 1 note hitter. All in all, it's worth the buy if you like the deep end bass and your systems subs have good frequency response like 20 hertz on up. Good luck! ... show more
