So far this has been a great Stereo. It has great audio settings EQ and DSP adjustments. It has time alignment as well. Great for apple car play or android auto and it is very very shallow so it can fit almost anywhere. I actually 3d printed a custom housing and mounted this in my 1993 Jeep wrangler giving me a better angle to view the stereo and bringing it to a safer place to operate it without taking my eyes off the road. That said the hands free system works great in this as well and it has a great microphone that seems to cut the road noise out quite well. Money well spent in my book.

Switched to this from my stock radio. Definitely worth the upgrade. Sound is so much cleaner, and this head unit has so many customizable options (like sub woofer volume control). The touch screen is on point! That was my complaint about many other head units. i was finally able to find one cheap, that fit my dash, and head quality sound and pinpoint accuracy for the touch screen. The brightness is perfect.

I went with a off brand double din stereo for my 2002 Ford excursion but it was not cutting it. With new door speakers it was not enough. I went ahead and got the Alpine iLX-W670 and it does the job well highly recommend.

I bought this radio to replace my broken down Pioneer radio. The reason I gave it 1 star less is one of my big problems is the microphone. The volume is so low, no one can hear me. I used 2 different mics. One that came with it, and another one. Same results. I hope this can get fixed in a patch. So no phone calls at this time. For the positive side. The Radio Tuner is Super fast from switching from band to band. I can’t believe how fast this is. It comes with a small preamp built inside the radio gives you an extra boost. Tons of sound equalizing controls. CarPlay works as intended. The screen is a good resolution. Perfect for navigation. It’s a good radio for the money.

Installed this in my wifes 2007 Hyundai santa fe fit perfectly in the dash. Looks great and makes the car interior feel/look more modern, also installed backup camera which works great, only "issue" i have with the backup camera is after switching from reverse back to park or drive the music stops from any source EXCEPT the radio and i have to press play again, not a big deal just a minor annoyance (maybe its a safety thing). Android auto and apple car play both work fine without any lag or issues for me. Only thing i wish the unit had was station/song information displaying (RDS) when listening to the radio, but at this price point i cant complain. This replaced an old single din alpine (cde-154bt) and the sound quality is improved compared to that unit. Tips: Make Sure you use a high quality usb cable to connect your phone to this unit. I tried a few random usb cables i had and some of them did not work for android auto. There is a firmware update for this unit which you download from alpines website and put it on a usb drive then plug it in to the usb on the unit to do the update. I would recommend doing this first thing when you get the radio working.

I honestly hate this head unit. First you have to find a USB cable that it likes..I tried 3 different ones and thought I had a winner. But it works about 50% of the time. The audio is noticeable between android auto vs Bluetooth, vs aux. I tried them all, the only that sounds right is android auto...that only works 50% of the time due to cable issues. And what do you get once android auto works you might ask...you get music and maps. Nothing else works. No screen mirror to watch YouTube or vids, no games, no real apps that are worth anything except maps n music. And the camera, ya you buy it separate..I throw it in revers and look down and this 300$ brick to see behind me..well you have to exit what your doing on the screen, go to the physical camera option and press it to work. When you go back to what you were doing the music stops and have to start all over again. It's garbage. I would never recommend this unit to anyone.

I am enjoying this head unit. I am hearing frequencies that I never heard with my old JVC. It provides clarity and function, and you can customize your screen, too.
