Great but not easy to install
Color: Frosted
Size: 29.5 Inch x 6.5 Feet
I thought these should be a cinch to install. Spray a window with some soapy water, peel the backing off, slap it on, smooth some bubbles, cut the excess with an xacto knife, smooth any other bubbles, bada bing bada boom: new window treatment. In reality, cutting these while they are on the window wa
sn’t very easy. I didn’t want to score the glass or damage the window in any way so it was hard to keep constant pressure. The window treatment also keep moving and slipping when I tried to trim. In the end I was able to trim it and it looks great if you don’t get too close to see the ragged edge along the pane. I put it up several months ago and it’s still clinging perfectly with no bubbles or anything. It’s the perfect frostiness to let a lot of light in but keep the inside of my home private from outside. So all good after initial effort. I’d recommend cutting it to size BEFORE installing. Other than that though, great product. I would definitely buy more for other windows in the future.

Hard for me to seperate the backing.
Color: Frosted
Size: 17.5 Inch x 6.5 Feet
The amount of material one gets for the price is great. A lot more than I expected. My problem is removing the sheet from the backing. I recommend a few extra inches in dimension to account for 'spoilage'. It is static cling so a very clean window surface is a must. And it sticks very well. I recomme
nd starting with a corner, removing a small bit of the backing, and then slowly work your way sticking the material, pulling more backing as you go. This also begs for those few extra inches in dimension when cutting the need material as it allows for slight misalignment when using this method. The excess also allows for easier removal the the excess after trimming against the window frame.

We were dog watching for 2 weeks and found the dog always at the window looking and barking at wildlife that wandered by on the hill. We tried blocking the view and I looked to Amazon for another idea. Found this, ordered, and received a day later. After over 30 minutes trying to remove the backing o
n the film, my husband was able to adhere the film to the window. It was easy to attach and looked smooth on the window. It worked like we wanted and was also easy to remove. There should be a corner on the film where you can easily start to peel it away.

We got this because our dogs would bark at everyone who passed by. Now the can't see and are nearly silent. It also protects the glass and the dogs don't feel a need to claw at the door like they did when they could see. Also super easy to put on if you have two people.

The plastic backing did not come off with the included sticker pull. I had to use other tape to get it off. This is likely why some people are having a difficult time getting the sheets to stick. Also, I unrolled the sheet from the tube and rolled it back up the opposite way so that the sheet would t
hen curl toward the side that needs to stick to the window. Annoying little things, but they work fine once you figure these things out.

My wife was wanting some sort of window covering to go on one of our windows to keep the sun out from shining so bright inside the house. I found this product, so I bought it. It's a great product BUT, it's rather hard to peel the backing off. Other than that, it's a great product.

I applied the window film to my front door windows. As always, when attempting something I havent tried yet, I start out by reading and re-reading the directions. I also read all the reviews. Thank you for those those reviews. I started with the lower rectangle sections, I measured, and I had cut the
sections too big. It was awkward for me to trim with the craft knife. So I discovered as I went, that I could put the film on the window with the spray and then carefully score the window film along the edge of the window with the corner of the putty knife. Then I would pull the film off of the window, lay it on a towel covered chair, and then cut along the score line with sharp scissors. It did get sloppy with water on the floor from pulling the film off. I would lightly apply the soapy water spray again after trimming and then reapply the film. For covering the arched areas, I took wax paper and laid it over the window section and used a sharp pencil to trace along the edge of the window. I used this wax paper piece as a pattern to cut the film (see photo). You can easily move the film until you get it positioned. I went over each section multiple times using the plastic putty knife starting at the center, working the bubbles out to the edges. And then keeping the edges and corners dry with the clean rag. While cleaning up the project mess, I would go back and continue to dry the edges and corners and looked for spots that I had missed. I am happy with this purchase and I am going to use the leftover film to cover an arch window. The film blocks the heat and you cannot see into the house at all. And that was my biggest concern at night. As you see on this one photo that i took at night from the outside, all inside view is blocked. Yay! So again, this was a happy purchase and I plan to buy more of this film.

I wish I could see the outside from inside and have the outside frosted to where they cannot see inside but this is still perfect! I needed privacy for my patio door that lead to my bedroom and this definitely gives that. Kind of difficult to install. The clear film was hard to remove and cutting out
the right shape was harder bc I didn’t have the right tools but I got the job done with what I had.

I purchased this product along with Gila Window Film Application Kit and Mytium Window Cleaning Squeegee Kit and had everything I needed to complete this project. The video included in the photo part of the Amazon listing made the process go super smooth. Without the window washing time, this project
took less than 50 minutes to complete for two front door sidelights. Light comes through the window but I cannot see outside. This is perfect for what I wanted it for-reducing my dogs barking every time they see a dog walk by the house. Super-annoying when you are in a work from home call and your dogs are going ballistic. Tips: 1. make sure your window is ultra clean before beginning the application 2. What looks like a flaw or non-adhesion to the window is actually just some application solution between the window film and the clear covering you are using when squeegee-in out the bubbles. Wait til you remove the covering and wipe down the window film before freaking out that you screwed up the process :). It looks great in the end.

Cools the room after putting on window.
Color: Frosted
Size: 17.5 Inch x 6.5 Feet
I have a glass block window in my bathroom which faces east. In Florida the room heats up and then it flows into the bathroom. I needed to stop this. I cut the film for each block and it went on easily using the soapy water which I sprayed on. The room definitely is cooler. I would definitely recomme
nd this window film to cut the heat.

No more bunny watching!! :D
Color: Frosted
Size: 29.5 Inch x 6.5 Feet
Our problem; We have a shepherd that likes to sit all day and night staring at all the wild rabbits we have in the yard. She whines and paces, trying to get us to open the door… so we needed to have a solution! Oops, I forgot to take a before pic but you can see the clear window in the process photos
I read the reviews and followed the instructions to a tee. Spray and begin by lining it up right to the edge of your window. It’s really Important to keep spraying the soapy water on the window and back of film as you go. I only pulled down 10-12 inches at a time so I didn’t mess the whole thing up. These are the tools I needed. I had a shower squeegee and that is what really did the job. I kept spraying and using that squeegee as I went down the door. After I got to the end of the window, it was time to cut it to size. I only had a half of inch to trim all the way down the right side. Very important to have a new blade and this metal ruler was the perfect guide as I kept a steady hand and pressure trimming the excess off. Then keep using that squeegee and wrapped credit card to bring that newly cut edge down. You may need a little more water as you to get that edge down. I only had a couple hiccups… One when I noticed a couple dog hairs that clung to the window, haha… I tried my best to remove them in order to have no bubbles or weird lines. But don’t keep pulling back up, just live with it. :) really couldn’t see them in the end. Two, I had a bit of a challenge when I first started trimming, the blade slipped. But once I got going the blade was able to cut it nicely. But as you can see, poor pup can’t see out anymore! Yay! Then I just realized, oh crap how am I gonna see her want back in now! Haha, oh geez didn’t think of that! Thankfully she has a dark face so I can see her little shadow :) but definitely could had gone with one that wasn’t so opaque. So keep that in mind, especially if your dog is white! **I just added the last pic to show you how well it matches our front door that was factory frosted! So now all the doors match. Just follow the directions and you’ll be successful! Definitely recommend!

UV protection worked better than I imagined
Color: Frosted
Size: 17.5 Inch x 6.5 Feet
We had a large glass block window on the south side of our house and every summer, the bathroom was 10-20 hotter than the rest of the house during the summer. I found instructions to cut the film to fit each glass block. I had my doubts. It's been installed for over three months, and after triple dig
it heat, sun shining in, etc - the temperature of the bathroom stays constant. Very pleased. One hint? If you are struggling to peal the backing off, use masking tape - put the tape on either the backing or the film itself and it's super easy to separate the layers. I had 50-some squares so it was important I could pull them apart without ripping my hair out.

I was worried these would be too frosted and cut out too much light, but they actually let in a good amount of light. I’m sure it helps that I didn’t go all the way up the window too. I’m really happy with how easily the film went on, how much light it lets in, and the amount of privacy it gives me f
or my garage. No more blinds or peeping eyes!!!
