This is one of the best purchases I've made in a while! It took me about an hour to assemble and the directions were actually helpful and easy to follow. Great quality, very sturdy and stable considering how tall it is (it's extremely tall). The cats love the scratching posts, hidey holes, and the beds at the top. Minorly messy when putting it together (the fabric sheds a little when you first take it out of the box). Very soft fabric that the cats love. Excellent value considering the size. My 4 year old cats have had a variety of scratching posts and cat trees, notably two prior single-post floor-to-ceiling cat trees that they used heavily. This one came securely double-boxed to our local post office and was a little difficult to carry to the car. The instructions were mostly non-verbal diagrams which were quite easy to follow. It took me about 70 minutes to put it together by myself - Hissy and Ophelia took naps in the two "beds" while I was working! Once the tower was complete the cats knew exactly how to use it. I put a little catnip in the bowl on the 5th level. They already know about scratching the sisal-covered posts. Each cat weighs 13 pounds but I do not think we need to strap the tower to the wall. We placed the tower near the patio door where the cats can watch for birds and plot their escape from the house. I commend the company for including one extra of each of the small pieces needed for construction as losing a single piece could jeopardize the project. They even suggested how to cut holes in the packing box to make a "cat house" which I'm sure at least Hissy will enjoy. I expect they will wear out the fabric in places over time, but I can easily "re-upholster" with plush fabric and glue. A small quibble is that the angle brackets for the "ramp" at the bottom was not quite at the right angle; I loosened the screws to allow the ramp to rest at the correct angle until everything was in place, then tightened them. In summary, this at first installation appears to be a quality product at a good price, providing lots of entertainment and comfort to these two feline sisters. ... show more

Have to say this has been the best cat tower I have purchased. I have 3 other ones but the quality of this one outperforms the rest. O like that the platforms are supported by at least 2 posts instead of a single one which makes it sturdy for a larger cat. my cats love the attached toys as well. Don’t hesitate to buy. I feel like I got a great value in my purchase. It seems to expect to be attached to a wall for stability, and that wasn't clear from the product description or the instructions, I can't do that in the place where I want it. It seems... fine, for stability without a wall connection, for a single large cat. It's been a couple of days and my cat won't get near it yet. I don't know if that's a smell from offgassing (it smells like drying glue), that it's very tall, or just because my old cat towers suffered a sudden structural failure and he's just twice shy. Or it's just new and he doesn't like that, I can't read his mind. It does deliver everything I expected when I ordered it, it was straightforward to assemble, it is rigid and as tall as it could be in a normal house but doesn't take a ton of floor space. It's easy to put together, it looks cool and my cats love it. I love the multiple different kinds of perches and hidy holes. Definitely worth the price and more. It's very stable and seems to be made of sturdy materials. Might buy another one for my mother in law.

Despite the challenges posed by my kitten's constant playing and attempts to lay on the components, I ultimately found the assembly process for this product to be relatively straightforward. The numerous pieces and parts initially seemed daunting, but they proved to be surprisingly easy to assemble. Due to my shorter stature, I did require the use of a step ladder to reach the higher components, but I was able to complete the assembly without any assistance. The resulting cat stand is remarkably sturdy, and I was pleased to discover that it comes with an attachment for securing it to the wall for added stability. Additionally, the product features a convenient hole for attaching a cat bowl, although I opted to remove this component and instead utilized the included toy mouse to teach my kitten how to climb through the hole to reach the top. As we are currently establishing a cattery for raising Maine coon kittens, I am impressed enough with this product that I intend to purchase two more for our kitten room due to their ideal length and size, which provide ample space for multiple kittens. ... show more

Finally found a cat tree that’s suitable and perfect for large cats!! They have plenty of space so they love this cat tree more than any other one they’ve had and use it every single day! They love to scratch the posts when they are laying in the hammocks. Plus, the hammocks themselves are strong enough to support and fit 15 lb cats comfortably! The tree is very sturdy and strong altogether. It might take them several days to warm up to it like it did for my cats, but even my most skittish cat loves this tree now! Definitely worth the price.
