Bought this arm due to the minimal, low profile aesthetic- and the fact that it can support desks up to ~3inches in thickness. The assembly and instructions were very straightforward and easy to follow. (I installed in the clamp configuration) The base of the stand takes up about 2inches width clearance on the surface of your desk; much better in comparison to most stock monitor stands. Has all the ranges of motions you need. (rotation, tilt, swivel) I really enjoy the hook+latch mechanism for attaching the vesa mount to the arm. The build quality is good for the price, though I would've preferred a metal base to the stand vs the shiny plastic for aesthetic reasons. The cable management along the back is very simple plastic hooks, not super strong or reliable if you're routing many cables through. These could've easily been replaced by a more durable plastic. This mount allows me to float the 32 inch 4K Samsung monitor in my studio, removing the base. It sits in exactly the same position, just looks a lot cleaner. For the price, I highly recommend this mount. It's sturdy and was very easy to assemble with clear instructions. The only thing to be aware of is that the monitor height adjustment is not a smooth linear path, it's a stepped adjustment every inch or so. For my purposes this was not a problem, but if you require extremely precise vertical placement, you might want to go with something more expensive that allows for precise adjustments. ... show more

Needed something that would allow me to mount a 40" ultrawide monitor that weighed around 22 lbs. The monitor is a MSI MAG401QR and the included stand was massive and put the monitor dead center on my desk. This allowed me to mount the screen on the desk sitting as far back as possible for viewing distance and was a perfect fit. Even though the description said up to 34" I believe they are referring to traditional monitors, ultrawide sacrifice vertical viewing height for horizontal viewing space. ... show more

Good value. Lifts 27" Curved Samsung Monitor Perfectly. Had no problems with assembly. Using the Table clamp method. At the highest setting this is perfect for my viewing and frees up space underneath the monitor on the desktop. If your monitor is larger than 27" you won't have as much clearance below and might not be as high as you want it, so you might need to find a taller riser. One of the reasons for the great cost on this is that you adjust the viewing angle manually and tighten a knob instead of having gas cylinders that a high-end unit might have.
