I couldn't get this shoulder massager to turn on at first. then I realized i needed to press and hold the power button for 3 full seconds- much longer than expected! Once I did that, it powered up smoothly. the robotic massage heads perfectly mimic a real massage. They pivot and flex to really dig into tight muscles. It's wireless too, so I can move around while getting a great massage. The massage heads automatically adjust pressure for the perfect massage every time. My shoulders have never felt so relaxed! The massager actually has real potential. It seems to do a good job, but the only problems are major ones. I’m an average to slim sized male, and this thing does not fit my neck size at all. Therefore, I can’t fit it around my neck to massage, so it makes it useless for the purpose I bought it. Also, it’s not hands free. If you actually want a deep massage, you have to use your arms to hold it in place, thus making your hands fairly well occupied. ... show more

    • Unique neck massager, but not for those who like a light touch!

This neck massager is unique from others I have tried in a couple ways. First, it’s wireless and rechargeable, which is a first for me the with kind you wear around your neck. Second, it does have a different style massage knobs where they are more “finger like” in the shape of the knobs and how they move. Even with the uniqueness in mind, it’s still just not for me. I rated it four stars because this is really a personal preference situation and it is a well made machine. I personally find it to be super heavy and kind of awkward to use because of the weight. And, I just know if I drop this thing it would probably land on my foot, and it might even break a bone it’s so heavy! When I read that it’s finger-like, I was really hoping for something a little less hard. I don’t like the typical shiatsu massagers because they are ridiculously hard in my opinion, and this one is very similar as far as how hard the knobs feel. I was expecting something softer frankly, with silicone/flexible knobs. I think that would have really made this a much more enjoyable product and would’ve made it unlike any of the others out there. Besides the fact that these knobs are super hard, even the first level is still too strong for me pressure wise. I know this is a major personal preference issue, and I am definitely more on the wimpy side! The placement of the knobs is also too narrow for the width of my neck, so that itself makes the pressure even harder. If you like very firm pressure, this might be just the neck massager for you! Even though this is not my general preference for a nice way to relax in the evenings for example, I may still give this a try when my neck is really tense. Every once in a blue moon, my neck gets so tense that this type of pressure may actually help me.     • Really hits the spot. Could use a few improvements
My neck ~16" and I find this to be almost too tight, especially when it goes into reverse-mode after the first cycle. The massaging is very comfortable, especially with the heat activated... and it even gets a bit of the shoulders. This is great for those of us that sit in front of a computer way too long for work. I usually just throw this over my neck like a scarf and pull down. If I'm busy (and need my hands) or really sore from doing overhead/ceiling work, I can throw it on like a hula-hoop and then pull the massaging piece behind my neck - no need to un-clip/re-clip. When using the clip properly, I don't need the hand straps and can rely on my armpits to pull down for more massaging pressure The zipper is easy to remove and install when you want to clean the cloth Love that this is wireless and the battery lasts more than long enough for 2 people to use It's also great that it's inherently USB-C charging with an included standard USB adapter Improvements: When the heat is activated, it should have an indicator on it. This heats so slowly ~1min that I question whether or not it's activated. A heat-only mode would be nice to have Sure this is just for your neck.. but it does get some of your shoulder, which feels great! If they widened the span by an inch or two this would really get the spot! ... show more
