The mat does what it claims to do for my countertop. I don't have a quartz countertop but, it still works. The mat is larger than my air fryer and extends about 6 inches out in front. It gives me a place to rest the air fryer basket when it's not in the air fryer. Not sure if it's because it's not on a quartz countertop, but the mat slides a little when I try to pull out or push in the basket. The mat does not keep it put.
