The media could not be loaded. This heat press is exactly what I wanted. I am an occasional crafter and couldn’t in my mind justify spending a couple hundred dollars on a heat press. That being said I had been contemplating getting a heat press for those random HTV projects since an iron is difficult to get even heat and movement sometimes messes up a design. I had a friend ask me to make some customization for a bachelorette party and it was going to be a big project so I decided to bite the bullet and get a heat press and while I still couldn’t justify $200 I found this one for almost half that. I have not used the heat press yet, this is my initial review just from opening the package, I will update after I use it. First, the base is probably unusable. The holes don't line up, the seams don't close together, when trying to insert the included screws, they overlap the edge, so can not be screwed in. Second, the designs are cute, but most are misspelled, or in a different language probably? Some of them it will be easy enough to cut the misspelled words out. Third I got a thick black mat, no silicone pad, no white fuzzy anti slip mat, I think maybe that's what the black pad must be? But definitely missing the silicone pad, so that's a bummer. I'm not sure if I can get this base to squish together, I hope I can shave the plastic down and make it fit? Otherwise I don't know what I'll do about where to put it while it's hot. ... show more

The item arrived a day late. It was packaged safely, so I can only think that the quality control of the manufacturer is poor. Before I removed the protective film from the control panel I could see multiple deep scratches in the black portion under the film. When I removed the film, I could see that not only was the under coating gouged, but the purple colored decals/stickers inside the handle area were both misapplied and rumpled. The unit does work, which is why I am giving the product 2 star review instead of a 1 star. The price definitely indicates the lack of attention to detail put into this product. If I did not need to use this item for Christmas crafting, I would send it back. I will be amazed if this item lasts more than 3 months. If you want quality, expect to pay for the name brand easy press 2. ... show more

    • Decent For Small Projects
*I didn't get the fuzzy mat or the silicone pad that it says it comes with, but it did come with a tiny t-shirt to "practice" on (possibly could fit a 2 year old) & a few designs When first opening this, I was definitely frustrated. The screw driver that comes with the package is a phillips head but the screws are flat head screws, so I had to use my own screw driver. The pieces of the base definitely do not fit well together so it took some time to get it together, but eventually I got it. You have to really force the pieces together. The iron on designs it comes with are very odd and pretty much useless, but good for practicing with I guess. The base has no "bottom". It's literally just an open ring that it sets in, so you have to set the base on a towel because it gets super hot on whatever surface you have it on. I had it sitting on desk and it just about melted my desk in the spot it was sitting. (Or maybe that's what the silicone pad was supposed to be for that I didn't receive?) Overall the performance of the machine so far as been fine. I've only had to make a few things, but have not had issues. It heats up pretty fast, It's easy to use and gets the job done. If you're looking for a cheaper option to make some tshirts here and there, this is a good option, otherwise I would recommend looking into other presses if you plan to use it for a small business. ... show more

I haven't gotten a chance to USE the heat press because I've spent 2 hours trying to get the base together and if I didn't need one ASAP I would 100% send this back. The base does not fit together at all. I had to force it as together as I could and then I just duct taped it. One of the pegs was already broken when I opened the box which funny enough, that was the easiest piece to get in place. Save up your money and buy a good one. Like I said, if I didn't need this literally right now, I would send it back and save up a little longer for a cricut one. I'll try to update when I actually use the heat press, but right now I am less than impressed. ... show more

I bought this heat press and used it with HTV. The first day it worked just fine. Adjusting the temp/timer was fast. Then the next day i went to use it and it lagged so bad. The base is super big and bulky along with the actual press. I didn't like that you had to use the viberation feature if you wanted to use the timer. I just spend the extra money on a cricut easy press. It's so much more easy to use. I ended up returning one. Also the photo description shows different pads. There was only 1 pad included. ... show more
