I absolutely love my heat press. The clam shell is different from they swing out I was use to but it didn’t take to many ginger burns to get use of it😉. I’ve been pressing for almost two years now and I would definitely recommend giving this beauty a try.

    • It's a great 1st press
I bought this because my business started to demand a heat press. From apparel to hard surface presses its an all around great press. The construction is sold through and through which can be felt. This I like from a durability standpoint but also a longevity standpoint. So far my only problem lies in the temp sensor. Setting the temperature is easy enough but you'll quickly notice a massive fluctuation. Example. I set my press to 260, the tenp will almost always climb to over 300 before settling back down. It will never rest 260 but will stay within +-10 degrees. The reason I feel to mention the drastic fluctuation is I will regularly leave materials on the press (un pressed) while it heats up. Usually to dry out moisture. A temp increase of 50 degrees is enough to ruin what your working with. This model though does appear to be workable so at some point I may upgrade the controller. In all I definitely recommend it for DIY hobbyists, weekend artists and the like. I wouldn't trust the temperature to consistently press hundreds of Ts at any given time though. ... show more

    • SAVE YOUR MONEY, Temps/Pressure aren’t accurate
At first I really was impressed with the looks of this and the crisp design, however no matter what I do my temp runs too hot or not hot enough. I use htv, subs, and screens and it’s never accurate, I’ve tried just about everything. The pressure knob is a joke, and no matter what you do I’m not showing any difference in pressure all over the platen. I have to press in different sections to be able to get the result I need, total waste of time and money. ... show more

    • Not bad at all
The press is great for beginners and intermediate users. It will def take care of all of your heat press needs. Only reason why I didn’t give it 5stars was because in order to adjust the pressure, there is a knob in front of the machine that you loosen to raise or lower the platen which adds more pressure or less pressure depending on whether or not the platen moves up or down. After you adjust the pressure, and you tighten the knob, the platen wobbles. It hasn’t had a negative effect on any of my garments, it’s just a little weird, that’s all.
