  • Fun and easy to fly!
Once you get the hang of it, it's remarkably agile and easy to fly! My kids mastered it quickly. Make sure you have enough area to maneuver, or you'll be climbing a tree in no time. Hard nose-dive impacts WILL break the nose cone off. You can hot-glue it back together, but the foam is not indestructible. If it's climbing (or diving) too steeply you can level the flight by lightly bending the elevators on the tail. A lot of fun for <$50. ... show more

  • Great jet! larger than expected and good glide.
Jet came on time, actually earlier. I took it out of the box, put on the verticals and flew it. Right from the start I could tell that it was going to be a fun plane. It can do a flip but you have to get pretty high. Other than that it's your basic, easy to fly, durable EPP foam plane. It did lose the front landing gear on a crash but you can fashion a skid for the front instead. I did return it b/c the motors stopped working but it was my fault. Nothing to do with the flight. I'm getting another different plane for and extra $50 dollars that uses flaps and a rudder instead of increased thrust but all in all this is a GREAT PLANE! five stars! ... show more

  • Don't buy
Absolute trash. One of the motors in one of the wings wasn't even secured to the fuselage when we took it out of the package. Fixed that and charged the batteries up, and took it out to fly. Put it on a smooth flat plane with plenty of runway to get up to speed, however all that runway was all for not, because it didn't have enough power to even taxi. Traded batteries to another full one, same thing. Thinking it must have been something we did, we turned it off and went over the entire manual just to make sure. We have several rc planes, but thought we may have missed something... nope. We went back out to manually put it in the air at 80% thrust as instructed in the manual, and this worked... for about 4 seconds (maybe 50 feet away), before disconnecting from the controller and flying away a few hundred feet. There's no controls to pitch the nose up and down, this is all reliant on throttle, which doesn't work right. ... show more

  • We have so much fun flying this at our local soccer field.
The media could not be loaded. I had an old rc gas plane as a kid growing up so when I saw this as a beginner I got it for my 10 year old. He know how to fly the drone pretty well so figure this won't be too difficult yet teach him about the wind and how it's use in gliding to lift planes up and maneuver. This plane is made of styrofoam so it is very light with two small motor propeller attached to each of the wings. It comes with two wires with plastic wheels that I recomend you glue the litte plastic cap on so it won't fall off after few flights to secure it. Also use strong tapes to tape the wire underneath once you attach it so you don't end up looking for it everytime it falls off when it lands on a rough impact. You also need to glue the two vertical stabilizer fins with the included glue. Carry that with you when you go out you might need it later which I explain later. The propeller is strong enough to maneuver in the air but not strong enough to give you take off from the ground and also the remote control is only for left and right turn and throttle but no up and down control so that is another reason you won't get a lift. You are basically use some of the light wind and draft to give you a high lift and you can turn off the throttle completely and glide and still control left and right. You definately need a wide open space like a soccer field because you need wide turns like a real airplane not like drones. I would categorize this more as a RC Glider/Plane because you use a lot of the draft to fly higher. Do not fly this when it's very windy you will have a very difficult time controlling it. I recomend artificial turf surface or grass. If you fly above any hard surface the plane won't last long when it comes down. It's difficult to land this with the little wheels but we were able to few times on the turf which was pretty cool but most of the time you end up landing on the side. You definatley need to have the wheels attached because without that everytime you land the propeller will be spinning on the flat surface and will mess up the motor eventually. Try to land horizontally and not nose down first because the foam will break from impact. Good thing it's made of foam so it can take many accidents impact which eventually cause the nose tip to break. But I use the included glue and glued it without issue and still flys perfectly. Don't sand it down or anything, try to attach perfectly without losing any foam shredded pieces so it's mold it back on perfectly as it broke off. So for practice definatley fly on soft grass surface first until you get use to it. For the current price and for the size and quality I think $50 is a little high. I think it would be perfect in the mid $30s. But for the fun factor and educational purpose of how plane flys and glide it's so so fun. My son loves this and he able to maneuver it very easily after few test runs. Definatley recommend it and their customer service is great. It does come with two batteries and each runs about 20 minutes from flying and tossing and flying. So two batteries you are out there flying easily around 40-50 minutes and if you take a portable battery pack just use the included usb charging adaptor charge the first one and it will be half charge by the time second battery dies. You get to fly another 10-12 minute so we easily get an hour of playtime outside. It takes about 45 minutes to get fully charge so pretty quick. ... show more

  • Very neat toy
Bought for my son's 13th birthday and was shocked at how cool it is. It flies really high and easy to control. Worth the price. Battery life is decent. I would recommend to fly in open areas.

  • Flys great But rear landing gear broke off
Plane was easy to assemble and sync. However the rear landing gear snapped off and was lost while using. Now this thing is worthless. If you fly it without landing gear the props get bent. Trying to locate parts is a pain and will take weeks from China to ship. Don’t recommend if you want to use more than once ... show more

  • Neighborhood 10yr old proof
My son uses this thing almost everyday in our front yard. He and his friends are not professional pilots by any measurable metric, so this thing has crashed hard, and often. It keeps on going. It has been stuck up in trees, and batted down with rake handles or tree trimmers, and it keeps going. It has flown smack into the soft belly midsection of other neighborhood children, and it keeps going. The closest thing I can equate it to in terms of indestructibility is this drone is the Michael Myers of drones. You could probably shoot it, stab it, burn it, run over it, or just plain wish it away but it won’t go to that grave. It is a tank. Recommend for the value. ... show more
