They are thicker in middle then the fronts abd back, and when your couch cushion is placed on top it was not noticeable that there was a pad under it. If i went bigger then i might have noticed . Breathed life into my lovely old chair. The seat was sagging and I didn't want to do a full repair replacement of the seat and the cushion. There is still a lot of life in the cushion. Disappointed! Product not as advertised. Although sturdy and firm thickness, the size is correct but not the design. The images portray a product with curved edges. I purchased this for better fit. Instead I received rectangular blocks that look awkward and don't fit properly. I COULD trim it myself and probably will, but I am frustrated by the deception. ... show more

Our couch fabric was fine but the cushions, not so much. The cushions were replaced under warranty once before. No need to buy a new couch buy these! They are easy to put in place and do what they are supposed to do! They are firm. Just a but high. The taper is the way to go as it reduces these being visible ... show more
