Overall very solid bike for 300. Agree with other reviews about adjusting the resistance: not a smooth twist and quick adjustment. Does not have a gear shift so your sprints take 10-15 seconds to get there. Assembly: intuitive and straightforward. Comes with the tools and hardware needed. Have your scissors ready, the packaging was voluminous. I referenced the assembly materials only when I needed the app details, lol. First ride: if you are short, set everything to its lowest setting. This is definitely designed for average to tall. You’ve got about 2-3 notches to adjust with. That said, one in position, feels pretty good. SILENT is accurate. The flywheel has basically no sound. In fact the only squeak I have is from one pedal. Seat: ok, look—if you do road bikes, the seat will be wider and softer for your liking. If you don’t, this seat is actually quite comfy and works better with the female hip width. Accessories: yeah no. Got a separate holder for water bottle. The one it comes with is teeny and I disagree on the placement. On the prowl for an accessory to hold weights. Also on the prowl for different pedals. The ones it comes with do the job, I’m just … picky. The provided pedals have a small toe cage (puts you more on tor toes, if that’s your style then maybe fine) and it’s your only option. No clips for the 2 standard clip in shoe options. Wish the manufacturer had some accessories to select from that are known to be compatible. Bluetooth/app: if you suspect your only option is a subscription app you’d be right. Connected fine the first time, then had 10 mins troubleshooting and resetting to connect with subsequent rides. The app itself (Zwift) is cute! Tracks RPM and wattage — once it connects. Can probably connect HR monitor. Haven’t tried. But the app has different route options if that’s a thing you are into. In summary: pretty decent value for what you pay. If you have some particular preferences, just be aware it’s bare bones, but very solid and quiet. ... show more

Let's begin by saying I was in the market for a simple bike for the home office to jump on between calls. I read a months worth of reviews and found positive and negatives about all that made me apprehensive to even buy one. Note: I realize that a bike is an item that can be customized at any level to which you are willing to spend. I didn't want that. I wanted an easy to assemble and use Bike that didn't require a fee to use. After many bikes reviewed, I decided to pull the trigger on the HARISON HR X15 Spinning Bike. Why? 1st: Price 2nd: NO App required, (but App capable) 3rd: was the few photos I could find on line made it look well built 4th: Many reviewers said it was quiet The shipping was incredibly fast considering the package weighed about 50 lbs. It well packaged, so well in fact, I believe the packer of my bike, was paid based on how much shipping tape they used. :) OPening the box I found: 1) The main bike assembly 2) The assembly tool kit 3) 2 triple A batteries (The bike will Blue tooth to your smart device is you download and subscribe to one of the 3 apps they have aligned with) In reviewing the instructions, I found the print small and many steps on each page. However the assembly is fairly intuitive and there is only 4 bolts 2 knobs and the lever for the handle bars. There is an open end wrench consisting of (2) sizes and one L Allen wrench with a Philips head on the smaller end. (I suggest using your own Phillips head screwdriver. I began the install and found putting the stabilizing platform legs rather easy, but if you are older or smaller framed, you may need a little help here. The bike also has 4 leveling adjustable feet to allow for leveling the bike if the floor is now level. There is 2 wheels on the front of mine, but I found them mounted very high on the frame and requires you to lift from the rear stabilizing leg on the floor very high to use them. Nice feature, but could have been planned better. I then mounted the pedals and I would like to call a huge finding, THE LEFT SIDE PEDAL SCREWS ON COUNTER CLOCKWISE. As I am not familiar with bikes, this may be normal. I found it odd and not called out in the assembly guide. The right side pedal screwed on normal (Righty -tighty) :) The strap for your feet is hard plastic and seem to be OK, understanding riding time will determine how they hold up. I finished the install with the seat and handle bars. Pretty straight forward with no issues. The water bottle mount seems to be find for medium sized bottles. and since the bike does not move on the carpeted floor I am riding, I do not see an issue with it. However, I doubt I will use it. Lastly I found it took about 20 mins playing with the seat and handle bars to find the right set up for me. (I am 6'4 220lbs) Given my height, I was surprised I did not have to adjust the handle bar and seat to the tallest settings. There is room to adjust. I also found I had to tilt the seat forward on the mounting pedestal. It comes flat and level and I found it was very uncomfortable after 1 min of test riding. After tilting forward, riding while seated was fine. I will need more seat time to see if it needs a better seat. I would like to think I will ride standing. :) Lets chat about the app's. There is (3) choices you can use with the bike and I have listed them below. I found it disappointing there was not a basic free app that would just track what you are achieving. But I understand APP development is costly and requires funding to upkeep. I am using a fit bit like device to track my progress and found it does pretty well, I just need to remember to switch from running to biking before hoping on the HARISON. :) Apps offered: 1) KINOMAP - Requires downloading to smart device & membership fee 2) ZWIFT - Free for 30 days but requires downloading to smart device & membership fee of 79.95 per year 3) SPAX - Requires downloading to smart device & membership fee OVERALL, I am please with the bike, ease of install, and overall usable capabilities. I would recommend this bike for anyone looking for a great home bike at an affordable price point. I would Like to say, I have never road a home bike as quiet as this bike. The bike is well built. The seat is comfortable and adjustable with ease. The installation is easy too. Took me 15min to set it up for my workout. The connection to iPad app is a plus.

I was looking for a simple, solid bike and that’s what this is. It’s built like a tank and is completely silent. I watched the assembly video twice while waiting for delivery so assembly was a breeze, approx 30 minutes. Getting it out of the maximalist packaging was harder than putting it together… they don’t take any chances. The seat was like most other bike seats which meant it wasn’t comfortable enough for me. I replaced it with an Xwing Noseless. The Xmifer oversize bike seat is also good if you want something more conventional. There is no control panel. Feedback is wireless via apps. I got Zwift for my phone, which works fine, but I don’t need all that. If you want video stimulation get BitGym and go wild. The phone holder works well but I wish they offered bigger/different holders for pads, laptops, books, snacks, etc. There’s a post in the front which would be perfect for interchangeable holders. One last thing: The price is right. This bike is a bargain. If there’s a discount coupon it’s even more so. ... show more

It is heavy and tough , doesn’t need a big place. worthy to buy . And you could connect it to your cell phone as well. Suitable for the apartment .
