Assembly took a little work. The included tools didn't fit for half of the pieces you need to bolt together, so you'll need your own set of Allen wrenches and an adjustable crescent wrench (that's what I used). After grabbing my own tools, assembly went together fairly smoothly. Doesn't open/close quite as smoothly as other benches that I've used. And it definitely doesn't fold up super flat either. Plus there's nowhere for the central pin to go once you fold it up, so there's potential for that to go wondering off. However, all that said,.... I will say that this is indeed a solid workout bench. High quality framing and padding. Plus the exterior PU style leather is top notch. All stitching intact. No loose frays or strings anywhere. And I do really like not just the spring pin adjustments but the red 'n black color styling as well. Gives the bench a classy fitness look! Stays firm and doesn't wobble during your sets.     • Bait and switch scam to get rid of old faulty product
Ordered this on a deal. They sent me an almost identical bench that had a different connection between the two halves. Not only does it not fold completely (the square tubing hits the bolts) but there isnt anywhere to put the lock pin, which is undersized, wiggles in the holes, and falls out when the bench is tilted. The customer service, supposedly "24/6" is basically nonexistent. No one answers either number I found. The "live chat" on the website isn't even a link or anything, so that's a lie. And emails with questions are responded to a say or so later without any answers or even acknowledgement that they were read and understood. After replying to their email asking why they won't address my concerns, the response was I need to make a video and prove the problems because they've never had any problems I described. Probably because people just return instead of giving them a chance after the lack of customer service. Returning for it is a scam to unload poorly engineered benches on people too lazy to return them. ... show more

I already had two benches in my home gym, but I really like the angles on this bench, particularly the decline options (-10%, -20%, -30%). That said, being foldable means the bench feels less sturdy, though it’s fine once in position. Padding is thinner than my other benches, but it means the lightweight bench is easier to move. The only minor negative is that it’s a bit lower than most benches I’ve used. This is easy to work around, but takes some getting used to. ... show more

    • Quick to set up, has a large gap, makes sound when doing sit ups
It only took a few minutes to screw the legs in. Adjusting the back rest takes a very long time as you're stuck squatting while spinning the knob. I recognize that this is to make the adjustment more secure since it's less likely to slip out. There's a large gap between the seat and the back rest which makes it somewhat painful if you're doing a lot of sit ups. The leg extension makes sit ups really easy though. ... show more

    • Great home gym bench
I've used this for a handful of workouts and I am impressed with the bench. It is quick and easy to adjust the angles. The bench is as stable as I'd expect a home bench to be, and it has held up to the weight I've put on it (185 lbs on a bar + my 195 lbs). I don't need to collapse it, but it does fold quickly if needed. I like that it is a compact form factor yet stable enough to trust it while I'm doing incline bench, core work, or dips. My one issue so far is with the instructions. In Step 2 they tell you to use an Umbrella Head Screw and a Lock Nut to connect the sides. That is incorrect, you need to use the provided single Hexagon Screw. If you are used to building items like this it would be obvious after trying it and reading the directions. However, they are wrong so I have to ding them for that error. ... show more
