I ordered this beginning of December as my 7th and prolly last new hobby of 2024 is waterfowl! It has automatic features for Ducks, Chickens, Geese, and Pheasants. The humidity, and Temps are controlled. I've read that the smaller version of this model turning doesn't work well. I can say that I've stayed and waited to see these turn. Its slow and gentle, mark your eggs and you'll know for sure. I haven't had any hatchlings yet, but they are developing. As the writing of this review I am on day 15/16 of a clutch of duck eggs my tractor supply ducks have laid and fertilized. I'm at the point were i candle them every day and spray them with warm water to simulate their mothers returning from the pond. As of now I have nothing but high regards for this rig. The water reservoirs are a great way to keep things going without have to open the tray. It will take standard 16.9/20oz bottles, there's 3 so no reason to run out. For me they last about 2-2.5 days without needing refilling. If anything is off the audio alarm will go off, I can hear it from downstairs and it wont go off until whatever is wrong has been corrected. Its cheap and has a lot of functionality. I'm ordering a second one just so when they get to hatching days the other batches/clutches can remain in the 100 degrees and not the lower temp, higher humidity. I currently have all 24 slots full with 18 khaki campbell eggs and my own backyard flock mix ... show more

I set up this incubator exactly as instructed, but encountered issues. The incubator's internal display reads 99°F, but my reliable thermometer consistently shows 88°F – a significant difference that persisted for a full 24 hours. I even tried the suggested hack of adding a Styrofoam bottom and lid to boost and maintain heat, but that made no difference. On top of the temperature problem, the egg turner isn't functioning at all. Clearly, something is seriously wrong with this unit. I'm very disappointed and would not recommend it based on my experience. ... show more

I got the incubator on November 20th. The instructions are not well written. I could never get the automatic egg turner to work. I guess this is good because I have 16 chicken eggs that have been incubating for 11 days and only 12 would fit on the rollers. CEED4U was to replace the one I had made and wouldn't have to manually turn the eggs. The eggs have been in the incubator for 3 days. The temperature on the incubator says 100 degrees but the eggs felt cool so I put a second temperature gauge inside and after an hour it says it's 94 degrees. I turned the incubators temperature up 6 degrees. It is now 100 degrees inside. I hope the temperature difference hasn't hurt the growing chicks. I do like the candler. This is my second time incubating coturnix quail and this incubators humidity is off and each time I had to add a red heat lamp facing the incubator. The turn tables never worked so I had to turn them by hand several times a day. I did have several hatchlings. But if I didn't add lamp and turn them manually I don't think they would have made it. The alarm is noisy and doesnt read properly on the number digital screen. It doesn't hold heat well at all. Again without my big heat lamp it won't heat up. I had to buy the coke plastic bottles as well just to fit the water carriers . Other bottles don't work. I'm happy I've had quails hatch but the quality and work I've put into it because the machine doesn't work well is kind of ridiculous. The heat lamp I had has to stay on the full time every day til hatching or the heat isn't enough just from the incubator alone. ... show more

It could not heat up to the required incubation temperature for chicken eggs in a 72F' (Fahrenheit) room, even when I put its Styrofoam insulation back on it. In desperation, I cut out pieces of double layer cardboard that fit snugly on the back and side panels to insulate it, but it still could not reach 100' F. until the next day. Then it dropped back down to 89' Fahrenheit and is now beeping incessantly. The only time it reached 100' F was when I had my small room heater blowing on it. But then that heater died, so now I won't be able to warm up my bedroom in December. ... show more

I like the set up of this incubator, pre set temp for chickens, candling light works well but there is no way to track the humidity in the incubator which is extremely important for the growth cycle of chick's. Good value otherwise pull out tray feels a bit flimsy but gets the job done
