The media could not be loaded. Can't say enough good things about this incubator. I was really hesitant about buying another after my first couple incubators (differnt brands and styles) started failing quickly. This incubator holds temperature wonderfully. When I did have to open the lid the temperature was back to stable within a minute. The humidity couldn't be easier. The bottle comes with the unit. From begining unil 3 days before hatch, you keep the bottle filled and attached. It regulates itself. I think I only had to refill once during that time. There's no need to open the incubator to add water which was a hug problem with my previous incubators. Adding water use to be a guessing game. 3 days before hatch you take the eggs out of the automatic turner and place in the bottom of the unit. The egg holders pop out of the unit really easy. Seal back up and add one full bottle of water to create more humidity. You have to pour slow so the small collection cup doesn't overflow outside the unit. I was worried the clear plastic on the top of the incubator wouldn't hold in heat very well. It worked perfectly and was extremely accurate which is the most important when hatching eggs. The settings are really easy to use and directions are clear. I love the clear top so you can watch the hatching process from all angles. The plastic of this incubator is really easy to clean after the hatch. The plastic grate pops out of the bottom to get the underneath. My old incubator was Styrofoam which was impossible to completely clean. This incubator is a great value for the money. I wanted a quality incubator but didn't need or want to pay the high price of the industrial incubators. If you only want to hatch up to 30 eggs each hatching this is the incubator for you!! Only negative was I wasn't a huge fan of the built in candler. I think a hand held candler is easier to maneuver and see inside the egg. Also if you hatch max number of eggs it does make for a tight fit while they're exiting their eggs. Neither issue is that big of a deal to me. I just had my first hatch using this incubator. It's extremely user friendly and works great. It holds temperature and humidity well. It allows you to easily see the eggs and the chicks and is a decent size once they have hatched. I had an amazing hatch rate 24 of the 25 that went into lockdown hatched which is around a 96% hatch rate. I have another hatch due in a few weeks and hoping for as good of results! Glad I purchased 2. My kids loved watching them hatch UPDATE: Second hatch was also great! 13 of 16 eggs hatched. Extremely happy with my experience with this incubator ... show more

Contacted the company, they responded immediately with the fix for my egg turner issue; I needed to reset the day count to 21 days in order for the egg turner to start working again. We appreciate their fast response and clear instructions on how to fix the problem. started to set another hatching of duck eggs; the egg turner is locked up now will not work! Return window closed 4 days ago, unit worked great for one use, factory settings were spot on, unit held temperature perfectly, humidity was perfect, till the last 3 days, egg turner worked well unit locked itself down at 3 days remaining. The only problem was raising the humidity to the mid 80's for the hatch, when we did the steps to increase the humidity it would only go to 73%, we spritzed the eggs with warm water (non-chlorinated) a couple times a day bringing the humidity up to 85%. Hatched 24 ducklings for a 100% hatch rate, this has been the easiest and best incubation for us ever. This unit literally works straight out of the box. ... show more

UPDATE FOR SECOND HATCH: Had another easy incubation, hatched all 30 of the eggs I put in. Needless to say it's a really good incubator for the price. UPDATE: I was able to get a 100% hatch rate from eggs I collected from my hens (hatch rates may lower if you use eggs shipped in the mail) all 30 of my eggs hatched without any complications. The humidity gets a little out of hand when all the eggs start hatching at once, I just waited for a gap in-between my eggs hatching and took the shells out of the incubator to lower the humidity a bit (it was getting close to 90% with water collecting on the sides), I plan on incubating some more here in a few days so if any problems pop up during the next incubation I'll definitely be updating my review, but as for right now this incubator worked great without any issues. So far this incubator is working great, very easy to set up, holds temp and humidity. I keep mine wrapped up in a bath robe (make sure the vents are still uncovered) to make sure the temp stays consistent since my house is kinda cold, i also recommend keeping the incubator away from direct sunlight to keep from overheating the eggs. I was able to get the full 30 eggs into my incubator. I put them in on 3/16/2023 and will be doing a more thorough update around 4/6/2023 which is my estimated hatch day, to let you know how good my hatch rate was and if there was any issues with the incubator. ... show more
