The most important thing to know is to be sure and preheat the stone for 10 to 15 minutes at 20°-30° above your desired cooking temperature for best results. I'll admit I'm new at pizza making but I struggled with this product. I kept the product but did buy another brand with a longer peel. The peel wasn't long enough for me. The stone was fine but extremely hard to clean. It did cook evenly so I kept it to try again but I won't be using the peel again.
