After figuring out how to open it, it was very easy to use. I bought this to put fish filets in for use on the BBQ. It worked perfectly. I put it in the dishwasher and it cleaned up nicely. The removable handle is great. I did not put that in the dishwasher.

We cooked Brussel Sprouts on the grill for Christmas dinner. They were sweet tender and flavorful. Cooking was fast, easy, and the basket flips over easily and safely. Cleaver design. Item Shape: Rolling Grill Basket
When grilling/smoking veggies or other small items, it generally helps to use a mesh basket or mat of some sort to prevent things from falling through the grates, so when I saw this Shizzo grill basket, I thought that I'd give it a try. In concept, you simply open the basket by the levers on each end, load up your food, then close the lid and lock in the food before placing it on the grill. There's an included "fork" that helps you maneuver the basket without burning yourself. Unfortunately, my original order was so poorly made, I'm not even sure how they got the basket the latch. It was locked solid in the shut position, with no way to open it. The materials itself are not high quality and seem to be super thin, which has me concerned of it breaking someday. The outer ends are kind of sharp steel, so be careful if you are handling/cleaning this. I did get a replacement basket set that wasn't as bent/locked up as my first, but this one is only marginally better. For the cost, it's not a bad value item, but they feel almost disposable after a few uses at this point. ... show more
