I love this hammock chair. You can sit and rock, or it will expand to allow you to extend your legs straight out. The price is for the hammock only and the chair frame this company also sells is very pricey. I tried it out and it was good quality but I located a regular heavy duty hammock that converts to a chair for a fraction of the price. Tip: Make sure the stand you purchase is tall enough to to accomodate the chair. Be sure to note the measurements of the frame to make sure it will fit in the area you have in mind. Update, I was contacted after almost 2 weeks and was told the problem would be addressed (apparently with a replacement). I had heard about Yellow Leaf hammocks from a friend who went on a Virgin Cruise and raved about them! As I looked into the company, not only did they have a variety of designs, but I loved that they worked with immigrant workers in Thailand to pay a fair wage and provide safe working conditions. Each hammock has a personal tag with the name of the worker who created it. Speaking of packaging, the hammock bag is not only chic, but a well thought out design to be able to safely pack your hammock chair with ease. Best of all, it’s the most comfortable place to curl up with a good book, listen to the cicadas and enjoy a cup of coffee. A+! ... show more

This hammock is perfect for what I wanted it for: a comfortable reading and lounging chair for my backyard "living room." It comes in a really nice storage/travel bag. I just bought a basic hammock chair stand to go with it as I don't have any trees or other suitable hanging location in my small space. The weave is sturdier than I expected and it's extremely comfy to sit in. I love that I can tuck my legs in or extend them out, and it works like a regular chair too. Incredibly soft and comfortable hanging fabric chair. Holding up well and holds a surprising amount of weight (270 pounds here). Save some money by buying here rather than in a Virgin Voyages cruise shop, better selection of colors as well.
