I've read all the reviews and was a bit discouraged before making the purchase. Most of the purchase the strings broke off and such. Not sure if these would help. Did you buy the right hardware for it. It will need an anchor plate on a ceiling and two hooks and link chain. See my pictures. This swing has been my oasis this summer. The minute you lay back, you are relaxed and never want to get up. I have spent hours laying in this swing reading, and just relaxing or even napping. It was not hard to assemble. My only concern is that it doesn't lay even.. some of the straps are shorter and therefore bare more of the weight. This wear is also showing in the stitching.. some spots bare more weight than others, and I am afraid that the seams will not hold. Overall, I love this swing and enjoy it immensely. I am hoping it will last for at least a couple of summers. I have it hanging on a covered screen porch so its not subject to sunlight and weather. I added a couple colorful pillows to mine also. ... show more

Firstly, Everything I saw made it look like there was some sort of stuffing in the bottom of the swing. Not just EMPTY with hollow poles that make a large hoolah hoop essentially & you sit on the canvas and hope (as a 120 pound woman that my hips aren’t shattered when the plastic shoes string material they’ve used to lace this thing together doesn’t snap) I haven’t had it outside for 6 months yet (& it’s under a roof so No Elements. No rain. No sun. None of that.) I don’t feel that it’s safe for anyone to try and use it at this point. The strings have started to break apart (literally DISINTEGRATES in my hand!!!?!! Don’t buy this and expect it to last longer than 2-3 months. I was so excited to have this outside for my daughter & neice who are both autistic and REALLY enjoy a swing!?!!! Love this thing! I am not a child Lol. It’s huge...56”. Can almost lay flat. It is currently hanging in my garage because I just wanted to see how it would look/hang. So far it seems quite sturdy and well-made I won’t know until the summertime how it will endure the elements as I live in Michigan I plan to spray the swing with water resistant spray for extra protection I was using in on papasan chair in a similar way...got moldy though. The bolster pillow that comes with it was very impressive Not a chintzy flat pillow like I anticipated. Haning it was easy, just make sure you are in a stud if inside. Does not come with any metal hardware that attaches to the ceiling Get at hardware store. I added a spring as well. Gives it some oommpppfff. Hurry up and buy it before the price skyrockets. I love the color, bright. Not difficult to put together. Took about 40 mins. All attachments came with the box. I did spray a coating of rain barrier on the product, including the pillow. The cords are springy, it will sink once you sit in it. I did order a round pillow to give it more of a comfortable lay. ... show more
