This steamer is absolutely amazing! At first I was less than impressed when I tried to clean my windows with it...it left water everywhere and left me frustrated. To me it's absolutely useless on windows, mirrors, etc. However, I decided to use it to clean the tracks on my sliding doors and could not believe how easily it cut through the grease and grime. Then I moved to the bathrooms...living in a house full of teen boys keeping the toilets/floors/surfaces clean is not very easy. This steamer was able to clean all the nooks and crannies on and around the toilet leaving the bathrooms all smelling fresher than I've ever been able to get them before, and the high heat assures me that the bathrooms are disinfected as well. I do wish the cord were longer as I wasn't able to reach some areas of the bathrooms without an extension cord. It's a small, compact steamer but works great! A great value in my opinion! Not a pressurized steam cleaner. No trigger or direct control over the steam. Our previous steamer had a metal tank that was heated and then steam came out under pressure. When it finally died, I looked at how it was made and it was honestly a bit sketchy. However, the build up of steam made for a constant, strong steam controlled by a trigger. So on and off was very convenient. It did take up to 10 minutes to reach full steam, but it worked very well. This particular unit uses a "insta-hot" steam feature that sucks up water from the tank and is heated to steam before it comes out. The problem, though the steam comes out quickly, is that a lot of hot water also squirts out, which makes a spashy mess all over the place. The steam is controlled by a dial, which is honestly confusing because the dial doesn't seem to really do anything. If you dial it high, the same amount of steam comes out as the low setting. And you have to wait for the steam to stop before you can put the gun down because it has no trigger. Normally, you will wipe up as you steam, but the lack of a trigger means you have to wait to use the towel and there is water all over. It also makes a terrible mess when steaming your car seats or dash. So much water will come out and potentially cause damage to your leather or leak into electronics. It makes steam but I feel like I am waiting around for minutes between when it makes steam and when it runs out of steam. I'm not sure if the steam setting knob actually does anything since no matter what setting I have it on the same amount of steam seems to come out. The hose came wound up and seems to have kept that form and doesn't really want to straighten out for me, I'm hoping that it will the more I use it. There is a lot of water that gets sprayed out with the steam so I often have to clean up water after using it. This steamer seems a little overpriced for what you're getting and I have smaller cheaper steamers that do a better job. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. You can turn your bathroom into a steam room with this thing. You get steam coming out within 30-40 secs of turning it on. It has 6 steam volume settings. Level 1 is about the same volumn as a tea kettle. Enough for loosening up a stubborn stain spot. Level 3 is what I used for cleaning larger areas like a shower. Level 5-6 is a ridiculous amount of steam that you can't even see your work area anymore. The steam comes out as a fine mist... there's no sputtering of hot water droplets so perfect for steaming wrinkles out of a shirt you plan on immediately wearing. My entire sink was covered by some dried on grime/soap mix that was not coming off with cleaners. Lot's of hard scrubing with clearners didn't make a dent. It even gave the steamer a run for it's money, but after a nice long soak in direct steam and still lots of elbow grease, the dried on film finally loosend up and scrubed off with the attached scrubber. It comes with several attachment heads to include: 2 x sizes of nylon scrubbers, 1 x brass scrubber, 2 x sizes of wall paper scrapper, a squeegie, an extension tube, a funnel and a thick pair of quality gloves... which you won't need if you're afraid of inadvertently burning yourself. Have to hold your skin right up against the outlet for a few seconds to get hot enough to burn... just brushing up against it won't burn you. Although the steamer main body that's pumping the vaporizing the water is fairly quiet, when it squirts out the spray nozzle, it's very loud... after half an hour, my ears started ringing so definitely need to wear ear protection. This is a useful cleaning tool for those hard to remove dried on deposits as well as a safe, non-chemical way of cleaning your normal grime. ... show more
