  • Mediocre. Quality of rubber needs to be upgraded.
Color: Black
Range of motion between thumb and pinky needs to be decreased. Not only is the tension too high on thumb and pinky in comparison to other fingers, this increased tension combined with poor quality rubber made it snap after light use. I've had these things for a while but I don't use it very often, mostly out of laziness. This level 2 band didn't see much use at all before it broke. EDIT: i am changing my original review from 3 to 5 stars. customer support sent me an entire replacement set for the 1 that broke, they were VERY nice and this level of customer service is rare to see. ... show more

  • Best of its kind finger bands, durability is wanting
Color: Black
I'm writing the review after having placed an order for my second set of these as the level one band has ripped on my first set. It would be nice to order just certain bands as I don't think I will ever use the level 3 or 4 but its clear that I will be going through quite a few of the level 1 and 2 since they seem to last about 6 months to a year being used 2-3 times a week. Aside from the durability these are the best of what they are, they work well, don't have a strong smell and 10 bucks every 6 months to a year for replacements isn't worth getting too worked up about. ... show more

  • Decent product; has helped my tendinitis
Color: Black
The product is pretty good. I’m above-average strength and have worked out for 20+ years consistently. I’ve battled tendinitis in my forearms over the years due, in my opinion, due to muscular imbalances: too much time gripping; not enough time extending. Using the bands has provided some relief. Good: 1) The resistance level is quite adequate. I was sore after pyramiding up to level 4 bands with a slow rep cadence. I had to back-off my original training plan. 2) The material is decent. After three weeks of use, I haven’t noticed any problems. I imagine they will last a couple years. 3) My set of bands came with a handy carrying case Bad: 1) Tension is not evenly distributed between fingers. The thumb takes the most load with the middle finger receiving very little tension at all. 2) The finger holes are very small for me. This won’t impact everyone, but if you’re a larger than average individual, you’re going to spend time stretching the loops onto your fingers. If you’re a really big person, I wouldn’t buy the product at all. ... show more

  • Break EASILY
Color: Black
UPDATE: I contacted the seller and they very swiftly replaced the entire set free of charge. I commend them for that; great customer service! However, the Level 2 band just broke today, and I probably used it about the same amount as the last band, just less frequently over the last month. Thankfully I have a backup and don't need a replacement. They're cheap, but now you know why. I don't have a lot of time, so I'll do sets of 11 reps on each hand, 1-3x a day. So after a single week, the first band(level 1) broke today9/05/2020. I bought them 8/28/2020. So, they break after roughly 150 stretches. I do not have especially large hands, being only 5'9" tall, 9" from pinky to thumb full stretch. These are garbage and I will try to get a refund. I'll post about customer service after the fact. ... show more

  • Pretty good for climber antagonistic training, but you need to use them right.
Color: Black
I am a climber, and I bought these bands to accompany my antagonistic training, to workout my finger extensor muscles which are typically neglected in normal climbing. These bands are pretty good if you use them right. I have definitely seen a reduction in minor injuries (nagging pulleys) since I started using them about 6 months ago. A personal tip on correct usage: don't use the Level 1 band if you can put it at the end of your fingertips and open your hand fully. If you consistently overstretch these bands, they will tear and break. The correct way to use these, in my opinion, is to place the bands about mid-way down your fingers, slightly above the middle/second knuckles. If you do this, the band will not be stretching too much, and you will probably be able to at least start at Level 2. [Edit] I had accidentally torn the Level 1 band because of consistently overstretching it. The manufacturer/seller offered to either give me a full refund, or send me a replacement set of these bands. I chose the replacement set. ... show more

  • Surprised by how poorly these have "worn"..* (revised)
Color: Black
I really wanted to like these. Been using the level 1exerciser daily, and have enjoyed the benefits of doing so, as a guitarist wanting to strengthen my hands to avoid the strain that guitarists often exhibit. And while the Level 2 is okay, these higher levels are generally too stiff for my musicians fingers. Unfortunately, after only 4 months, the Level 1 band has cracked/torn next to the index finger loop and will shortly fail. This is not remotely long enough to consider buying these again. We'll see if the company reaches out and replaces the failing band at least. If so, I will update this review. Otherwise, caveat emptor! Revised 8/20/20 So, the company has been quite reasonable and have shipped me a replacement set of bands, which is great! Haven't received them yet, so I will update again on their arrival. Will also weigh in after 6 months or more of use to relate how well they are "wearing". ... show more

  • Warranty is a SCAM
Color: Black
One of the pieces broke after 1wk normal use. I had already registered the warranty info, so emailed customer support. Spent 2wks emailing them back and forth (couldn't get all the info @ once?), they said they were shipping me a replacement as required by their warranty... This was 2 months ago, and I've not received the replacement nor heard anything back. Item was cheap so not a huge concern, but lies are lies & blatantly false claims are unacceptable at any price point. ... show more

  • Great product!! wait, its meant to be disposable, right?
Color: Black
Started with the 8Lbs, seems to be helping with some old injuries. Used it for only a few weeks then it snapped. I only used it once a day for a couple of sets. It looked sturdy but today it just snapped in the middle of a set. Hope I can go up to the 12lb, lets see how long it lasts. EDIT (4-7-21): 12lb also snapped about 2 weeks later from using it once a day for 2 sets of 10 reps each hand. It seems they're only good for a week or two. Also, I received an email by the seller trying to bribe me into deleting this review. They said they would refund me what I paid if I delete this...nice try! your product isn't good! I'm changing from 2 to 1 star just for the horrible customer service. They could at least offer to replace these as they snap ... show more
