It's about the weight of my hair dryer. My hair is so silky and smooth. I always have had to use a flat iron until now. I was able to touch it up this morning with it dry. I love this thing! I really loved using this blower. I used to blow style my hair and have a good outcome but shortly after my hair would become frizzy. This blow styler gave me a professional salon style blow out and my hair looks smooth and silky all day. I would give this hair dryer 5 stars but the heat malfunctioned after only 7 months. If it had lasted for over a year, I may have purchased the same one but since it was so short lived, I replaced it with a different blower. ... show more

I didn’t realize how much I was messing up my home silk press by not being able to dry my hair properly. I have a mix of 4b/4c. Hair was always frizzy & I couldn’t figure out how to stop that. God bless you ultra coordinated ladies that can hold a blow dryer and brush through at the same time. That ain’t me at all!!!! Saw a girl on YouTube had a hair dryer like this and I ordered one immediately!! I love it! It’s so simple to use and best of all, no more frizzy hair and ends!!!! I read reviews on many of these volumizer/dryers. I chose this one which seems to work fine, EXCEPT, even though it says for all hair types, it's not for chin length fine hair unless you have extremely thick &/or wavy hair & want it straightened/flatened. I need volume and also a bit of "body wave" and this made my hair straight and flat. I used product, etc. but I think shorter hair needs a smaller brush part. ... show more

I have no idea how I went without this brush, but it is a really good product. I am going to buy another one to have in hand. I don’t have thick hair, but my hair is mid length by the shoulder blades and I brush my hair out in about 15 minutes and this brush gets really hot so be careful.
