I never understood the hype of airwrap heat styling tools but once you try it, it's hard to go back to anything else. I've been too turned off by the price point of the name brand airwraps but envious seeing the social media posts of women using them so effortlessly. This hair drying styler by LC-dolida is such a treat to use. When it arrived in it's impressive packaging box, my daughters and I were excited and couldn't wait to try it. It comes with 5 attachments, and having never used an airwrap before was confused why you would need 2 curling barrels (one for left and one for right), but it makes absolute sense once you use it, since it depends on which way you want the curl to go. We were too excited to read the instructions, and at first was confused why I couldn't get the rod to lock in place, but as it states in the included manual as well as the product description, you place the rod or any of the attachments on top of the tool and twist the pink band on the tool to the lock position. This tool is really light weight and though it's a hair dryer, it isn't as loud as we were expecting. It made for a fast way to style wet hair and dry it at the same time. We sectioned off the hair and the rod just naturally spins the hair around it, though the thicker the section the more help it required so just make sure to section off appropriately or manually help it along. One of my daughters has wavy frizzy hair and the rod curled it to have soft luscious bouncy curls without any frizz. And it held the curls into the following day. This tool gives your hair a salon blow out look so it pays for itself in just a few uses. This came with a velvety storage case, but for now we will be keeping it in the nice box as it helps organize all the attachments. Please be advised when switching out the rod attachments from the left and right ones to be careful as the rods get really hot. We used a nearby sock to help untwist it, but a heat glove would probably be better suited for the job. ... show more

I’m very impressed by this hair dryer set. It was packaged in a very high-end box with magnetic closure, and gold embossed writing! It comes with a nice drawstring bag for storage (or you can keep it in its original box. It has a base handle onto which all the attachments connect to. It includes a bladeless hair dryer, two curling rods (one for clockwise curls, and the other for counter-clockwise curls), two brushes (one detangler brush, and one styling brush). It has 3 temp settings (cool, warm, and hot), and two fan speeds (medium and high). Even on the high speed it’s fairly quiet (much quieter than my other “classic” type hairdryer). It is easy to operate, but also comes with an instruction booklet. Note: When putting on the attachments, you insert them into the handle, and rotate the BAND on the HANDLE to lock it in place. Do not turn the attachment. In other words, it’s not like a lightbulb that you have to screw in. You just put it in, and then turn the pink band on the handle which rotates from “unlocked” to “locked”. [this is all explained in the instruction manual] My favorite thing that I like about this hairdryer is the way the it sucks the hair onto the curling rods. You don’t have to use much effort. And it doesn’t take long at all. Plus, depending on your hair type, you may not even need the higher heat setting to do it! However, if you do have it on the higher heat setting be aware that the rod does get hot. You have to hold it by the top piece that doesn’t get hot. Overall, I’m very happy with this hairdryer!!
