This is honestly one of the best budget cars you can buy. The durability is amazing and so is the speed. I would recommend a good 2000mhz 3s battery for this car. The batteries that come with it are cheap and not the best. This thing does tumble a lot, which is a down side, but it is not terrible. The receiver is decent, just watch it doesn’t get stuck in the front axles. The motor is pretty good for its size, as well. The shocks that come with are decent, a little bouncy though.     • Really hard to break this car!
I have ran this car into bricks,rocks,and I have rolled and flipped it so many and it only has little cuts on the cover over the wheel,front and back, but it goes so fast going forward that if you go full speed on sand it will get kicked up underneath the cover of the car.

    • Car won’t drive straight
Car was fun out the box. Little smaller than i wanted to fun regardless. After about 2 weeks the car will not drive straight it just spins out when i hit the throttle.

    • Poor build quality
Coming from Walmart rc cars, I thought this one is amazing at first. It states that this car can accept a 3s lipo, but the drive terrain cannot handle that power. The rear diff pin sheered on me, one of the wheel pins sheered, front axle sheered. This scale is slightly too small for any off road fun. Yes, it will run on grass or dirt, but it is not stable compared to a 1:10 scale. When playing in dirt, the smallest of gravel and rocks will throw the car off course. It rolls too easily on grass, pavement, and dirt. No matter how much I tried to tune the suspension, there is no improvement. Radio signal reached about 150ft when new, but it got reduced to 20ft the last time I used it. This was the last straw for me. I went through two of these car in the span of two months. Spend the extra $200 to buy you a quality rc car. This car will be impressive compared to Walmart “RC Bright” cars. But it is extremely underwhelming compared to a hobby grade rc car. It is a RC toy that wants to be hobby grade. But it’s not. ... show more

    • Cool truck, weak receiver.
The media could not be loaded. I think Haiboxing is the one of the best Chinese manufacturers of these small scale RC cars and trucks but this one has a separate receiver which is great and definitely expected at this price point but I’ve had very poor connectivity between the transmitter and receiver. I haven’t measured it but I’d say anything past just 60 FT out and it stutters to function. It doesn’t lose connection completely but enough that the acceleration/reverse doesn’t function for a couple of seconds…which obviously equates to a very disappointing driving experience.     • Fast and agile. Fun in a RTR trophy truck.
Such a powerful and fast machine for such a little battery pack. Very capable and fun, you'll be inspired to build a track in your own back yard. Better than a simple basher. It's no competition buggy but a great truck for an intermediate skilled driver. Have fun!
