I wish it came with a set of REAL drift tires. The ones advertised I would best describe as paved road drift tires. They have too much grip in my estimation to be called "drift tires". I bought this r/c car as a gift for a soon to be six year old. It does require adult supervision if you do buy it for a younger kid. There are small clips, exposed wire plugs, and the motor can burn you after playing with it. I would not let my son play with it by himself at this age. I was surprised how long the battery lasted when we played with it. I am guessing one battery lasted about 45min to 1 hour on the slow speed. It is very durable as well. My son accidently stepped on it and pushed the plastic body stands over. It bent right back and looks good as new. There are spare part numbers listed in the manual that comes with the car also. I am hoping that I will be able to find the parts if I ever need them. The only negative that I can think of is that the battery connection is hard to unclip in the car. Besides that, I do not know if you can find a better r/c car at this price. ... show more

Car preforms great on smooth floors and is super fast! It's decently easy to learn and drift but it does not have the gyro as advertised or mine is not enabled. The car is fairly easy to counter turn. There is a delay in the F to R function. Over all worth the price.

Very quick and snappy, but you can only run the plastic tires. The rims have a weird drive on the back, and rubber tires are not available.

If used right, no problems with it. I did have a motor burn out but it was quickly remedied by Amazon. About the truck, it's made for sliding and drifting on flat surfaces. If you keep it slow as you learn the way it handles, you shouldn't have any problems. There's no proper gyro on it, but it does self-correct as if it has one, as long as throttle is being applied. So it has "gyro action" but not full gyro. Keep in mind this is not a basher and you should be fine. On another note, the shocks that mine came with aren't adjustable like the description. ... show more
