This welder is awesome!! When I first took this welder out of the box and saw the size of it I laughed my head off, there is no way this thing is going to do squat!! After I start welding and testing what it can do, holy crap!!! I'm VERY impressed!!! Totally worth the $63 I paid for it! It was burning up to 1/8 7014 rods(not perfect but doing it)! Wow. Great welding machine that will fit in my Jeep toolbox. I tested this GUOZHI ARC-130 with my garage normal 120VAC 20amp breaker outlet plugged into a 10ga. 10ft extension cord in just over 102°F (39°C) in Nevada heat and ran 2 rods of 3/32" 7018 at 90 amps and it started fine and held a good arc. Also ran one rod of 3/32" 6011 and one rod of 3/32" 6013 and it worked amazing in the 102°F heat. Owned a Fabrication shop, now retired after 34 years welding (4 as an underwater welder) and this little inverter welding machine has impressed me the most because it is so small and surprisingly inexpensive. Came with Good Size electrode holder and Ground connection. Metal Case with easy to read Digital Readout. Going to get another one as a gift for a friend. ... show more

So I received the welder but didn't open it till the next day and decided to give it a try, first impression was that is pretty Small but it comes with the wire and the ground and rod holder which is very good, last time I got one of the smaller ones didn't come with the wires ( not good) and they are actually pretty decent looking. Not cheapy ones, and I put two 1/2 rebar pieces together and OMG!! This little welder makes me do really nice welds. In conclusion, would I recommend it. Yes of course. If you're a diy guy it's perfect I don't know if I recommend it to do construction weld job but for the average home owners it's perfect. Get one don't hesitate, you won't regret it... ... show more

This thing has surprised me throughly. I do all kinds of welding from hobbies to heavy duty welding on heavy equipment. No this thing doesn’t have enough juice to do the heavy welding but it does however have enough to weld 1/8 or 1/4 metal, if you know what you’re doing. In my opinion it doesn’t get hot enough to burn 1/8 rods but for the money it’s well worth going to get smaller rods. ... show more

Put together per instructions and purchased “Recommended “ size rods. 3/32” E-6011. Needed to weld a 3/4” steel rod inside a 3/8” thick plate. I was out of tri-mix gas for my Miller mig and was not going to even try the flux core wire so, I thought to myself it was time to give the little micro arc welder a go. I set the 3/4” rod approximately 3/16” shy of being flush with the bottom of the plate for the weld to have good penetration. I got some scrap plate and set the machine on 70. Welded a small bead and then set it to 90 and did the same. Still just a little cold so I went to 95 and hit the sweet spot. I welded around the rod slowly so it would burn in and penetrate the outer perimeter nicely. When I finished and chipped the slag off I was absolutely amazed. The bead was just as good as any Full size welder I’ve ever used. Granted it wasn’t a 20” long weld or, running 15 rods without stopping. It did allow me to finish a job without going to swap tanks on the mig. 1 hr time saved and $80 still in my pocket. Is this welder a Miller ? No it’s not but for the money it cost it did an outstanding job. I’ve been welding for over 30 years and I’ve learned a lot over time. After reading some of the less than stellar reviews I decided to try it myself. First off if your not an experienced welder your results will vary. The penetration and “pretty” stacked dimes beads are not gonna happen on the first try or, second. Practice makes perfect and setting the amperage for the size material your welding is crucial. Set the controls on same thickness scrap metal and fine tune before you ever start on the actual work piece. Take your time and, watch your puddle. Slow down and “see” your weld as your welding. Distance from tip of rod to surface of work piece is important to. There is no written rule or law that says, you can’t make 2 or more passes to fill and penetrate. I know that sometimes you actually get a defective product and that’s just how it is and, it is with anything you purchase. This welder is perfect for first time users and hobby work. Summary, this is a Small job welder that absolutely delivers great results. Follow manufacturers recommendations and allow proper cool down as it’s not a $2000 + machine. Mine may break the next time I use it but the results I got out of this little machine were amazing. If it ever does break on me I will definitely order another one that same day. ... show more
