I’m 44” around my bellybutton area but the size Large fits. I am able to anchor it without a problem. I originally tried the medium size and it was far from even making it close on the buckle. Looks good, light weight and it doesn’t give a bulky feeling around your torso.

I recently purchased the Gymreapers Quick Locking Weightlifting Belt, and I have been mostly pleased with its performance. This 4-inch belt is a great help in weight training. Great quality, sturdy construction. The quick-locking feature is nice, allowing for quick adjustments between sets. One minor note regarding the sizing. The instructions read "measure around the naval." While this is where the belt is worn, the sizing is based on a 'tight core' fit, not a natural fit. You have to first brace your core--"suck in the gut", especially if you have a lot of belly fat--and *then* measure. Following the instructions to the letter led to a looser fit than expected. It's not a deal-breaker, but something to keep in mind for those considering this belt. ... show more

I have been working out since I was 13, I am not 52. I rarely use belts these days but in recent months have been starting to lift heavy again. I have used many types of builds from powerlifting to bodybuilding belts, this particular build is very comfortable and fits well. It can be released quickly. The only downfall is that you have to completely unbuckle it to remove it since you are weaved into the locking arm. I recently purchased and used this belt for a few weeks during my workout sessions. Overall, I found it to be a helpful addition to my routine, but there were some aspects that left me a bit underwhelmed. Let's start with the positives.
