First day of using it will say it felt weird against my back and it's not that wide so it is made for smaller built people I got this because I have severe back issues and I've been just using a regular pillow behind my back with my heating pad and it just doesn't help as much as I wish using the lumbar cushion in the long run will definitely help my back better ... show more

I got this to see if it'd help my back. I'm a tall and slender woman (5'9.25" and 107 lbs), and it looks bigger in the pictures. When received, it was a lot smaller. This bothered me at first, I didn't know if it was big enough, but after using it for a couple weeks, my back feels a lot better. So much so, I move it between my car and my desk chair. Sometimes I have to push it up to wedge it between me and my desk chair or my driver's seat in my car, but it does do what it says it's supposed to do. If I begin to slouch or lean forward, it'll fall back down, but if you have back problems, sitting up straight in a chair is probably the first step to take, along with a pole or something to help correct your posture, by placing it on your back sideways, and holding it between your elbows. (As it helps you stretch.) As I don't typically have that problem, it stays nice and snug against the back of the chair, where your back is supposed to be. So, it's made my back feel better, especially after a 12 mile run where my whole body aches. I've tried cold compresses and other things too, to help, and those do, however I can't use those for too long, or it'll cause something called "ice burns" or "cold burns", I forgot. This does the job though, by helping to support my spine. I have the same problem with most chairs and even my passenger seat that has "lumbar support", while they do, it's usually too far down, not where I need it. Which is confusing to me, but I take it as it is. So, while it seemed small at first, if you can put it where it's supposed to be, and sit with a proper posture, it actually works amazing, very stiff and soft too. ... show more

My new favorite pillow! I have been using a flimsy chair cushion as a back support for so long that I’ve honestly forgotten how long it’s been. That chair cushion has not been doing my back any favors, either. I’ve been looking for the right lumbar support pillow for quite a while, and this looked like a good fit. I was right! I’ve been using this pillow almost non-stop for several days now, and I can’t imagine not having it. As soon as I opened the package, put the pillow down and sat against it, I literally said, “Ahhh.” This pillow has provided wonderful support for my back, it is so comfortable, the cover material is soft, the interior pillow is just the right firmness, it keeps its shape no matter how long I’ve used it, and I’m sitting up straighter when I use it. The cover has a zipper on the back to allow for its easy removal when it needs to be cleaned. There is a strap on the back to affix the pillow to a chair, but I have not needed to use this yet. It’s nice to have the strap available, though, when I am ready to use it. The pillow is a perfect height, too. It goes up just far enough to provide great support where I need it. Based on my measurements, it’s a little over 16 inches high. Also, the gray material is a good, neutral color. I’m really happy with this pillow, and I like everything about it. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you have to sit for long periods like I do. ... show more

I have seen these but always avoided them because i just put a pillow behind me, and when that pillow became uncomfortable, I would try another but I finally got this and now I hate myself because I am in love with this, no pillow can provide the comfort and support that this does, as this is actually designed to provide it and I am an idiot LOL. It is amazing the difference this makes. I have a torn muscle in my back on top of fibromyalgia so I am used to pain and have a high tolerance but I am literally kicking myself because I have been suffering needlessly. I telework and move from the desk chair to the recliner and was not sure if it would work for the recliner because it is designed for a work chair but it is great in the recliner, note that I do not recline. It is made very well, it is firm for support but soft for comfort and made well, durable, and will last. I would recommend this at any cost, but I did notice they have an offer right now for a discount so I would grab one now and give it a try. ... show more

I enjoy having extra support as I'm seated for long periods of time a day. If I can make it easier on my body I will. Uncomfortable seating isn't very good for you in the long term. This is wonderful and conforms to your lower back easily.
