    • Good For Intended Use
Lets address some complaints i've seen in other reviews. Not being able to attach mount to back so it can be attached to a wall is a definite downside for SOME people but if thats not your intended mounting, then its not an issue. The one thumb screw with limited space to tighten to attach unit to mount is not the best, I'd agree with that, but its a one and done situation and a little loctite when installing will help ensure it stays tight. (Blue if planning to remove again, Red if it's there to stay) Quality was really good on mine, and for a quick-access biometric "safe", it's a solid storage solution. Fingerprint scanner works phenomenally well, like baffling well. I was really impressed with how quickly it read my programmed prints and I actually bought a different model from Holewor too. Keypad and keys are a standard fallback for biometric storage devices such as this so no risk of complete lockout. My only complaint with those is that the keys could be beefed up a little but they're probably not going to be used much. If you have a flashlight, laser, extended mags, etc you may run into fitment issues and have to modify foam or use standard cap mag to make it work. Thats pretty much the same across all the units ive bought like this, they will never fit everything perfectly. I will post some photos with measurements when i get a chance to help you determine if this will work for your needs. Overall, for simple storage to keep most tools out of sight and reach of children or wanted guests, it does the job and its a good value for the money. If you're looking for fort knox level security from unwanted guests willing to do whatever it takes to get in, then you shouldn't be considering anything "quick-access". Quick-Access safes are not designed to be invincible, I've owned several, even some i paid double for, and they're all the same in this regard. ... show more

Perfect for safety and easy access! I love that it has the fingerprint, passcode and key access options so you can pick whichever form of access you choose, or change go with different access option if you choose. We got this to attach to the inside of the nightstand for easy access at home if needed while also providing safety from others possibly trying to access it. The media could not be loaded. It took me a bit to figure out exactly where I wanted to install it, but the Holewor gun safe is a great choice to securely store a gun near your bed. It's just about the perfect size for between nightstand and bed. The mounting bracket makes a good template for positioning holes to mount the safe. I was worried that the fingerprint sensor wouldn't be quick, but it is. Up to 50 fingerprints can be stored as well as 5 6-digit passcodes. The media could not be loaded. I bought this to have the option to keep some of my important tools out of the hands of people who shouldn't be touching it. I don't want a child to get a hold of the contents and end up with a terrible accident. I don't consider this to be a safe to keep out a determined thief, this is purely to keep children and casual people out. It has a finger print scanner as well as a 6 digit code for fast access. And a set of keys for access in the event the batteries die. It uses 4 AA batteries to power the internals. Setup was a breeze. It's sold construction and is heavy. It’s not going to stop someone from breaking into it but I will keep your firearm out of the hands of curious children. Biometric seems to work good and 6 digit numeric code is easy enough to program. However the little things like drilling and tapping a hole straight seems to be a challenge for this company. I had a hard time getting the bracket separated from the box and once I did I realized why. The hole is tapped crooked. ... show more

This is so useful, I was able to easily mount this in my car. It has enough space for my gun, a spare magazine. The drop down option makes it very convenient and easy to access the gun. Multiple ways to lock and unlock the safe, easiest I have found and have been frequently using is the fingerprint option. But besides that you are also able to unlock using a pass code or key.
