I have attached three pictures which are the 6 stakes, a close-up of one of the stakes and a firewood splitter that I anchored to the ground with 4 of the stakes. The stakes are just under 12 inches long (11.81 inches) and .31 inches in diameter. They are shaped like the letter "J". These are heavy duty stakes and are not likely to bend unless you use extreme effort. The Amazon product description says they are made with high-grade steel and have a galvanized coating so they will not rust. The point of each of the stakes is quite sharp - FYI. The close-up of the stake was included so you see the stakes have little "ribs" on them and will help to keep them in the ground. I have a firewood splitter which I used 4 of the stakes to hold to the ground so it would not move while I was splitting wood. I pushed the stakes into the ground with my hand and then tapped them the rest of the way with the 15 pound sledge hammer I was using to split the wood. They did a good job of holding the firewood splitter in place. After I split 6 logs I looked and only one of the stakes had "risen up". I just tapped it back down with the sledge hammer I was using. If/when the ground freezes the stakes will not move. The last picture I attached to this review shows the 4 stakes I positioned around the bottom ring of the firewood splitter. These stakes have many uses. If you are looking for some heavy duty stakes to hold something securely to the ground you should consider the QNLONG 12 inch stakes. I fully expected these stakes to be some lightweight things, but when they arrived I was surprised by the heft of the box. I camp in areas with high winds, often using a pop-up shelter which is easily spirited away by gusts. I need some serious anchors to hold this down. Screw-in anchors are available, but can be time consuming to put in/out. I think these stakes will be perfect - with their length and ridges, they have far more holding power than the steel stakes I've been using. Also, the hook on the top is great - stakes often have a tendency to spin around, allowing the guyline to slip off the top. By hammering the hook into the ground as well, this is prevented. These would also be good for holding down targets, etc. as well. One could easily make their own stakes for far less using some rebar from the home center, a hammer, and a torch, but this isn't a bad price to save you that work. Dimensions of the stakes are pretty much what is shown in the photos. ... show more

These J hook rebar stakes are quite strong and sturdy, no flexing or bending. I have a small, portable greenhouse (56"L x 28"W x 75"H) that is easily toppled over by the wind. I anchored the outside with cord and yellow plastic tent stakes. Not really good enough against the wind. The galvanized 12" J hook rebar stakes are exactly what I needed to anchor the greenhouse frame from the inside. The sharp point and rounded top make it easier to push the stakes into the ground. Will also work great for tree supports. The J hook design and ridged rebar surface stops the tree straps from slipping off. ... show more

I can't tell you how many times I have purchased something like a pop up or tent or similar and the stakes that come with it are pathetic little metal things that wouldn't even hold down a hose.. I have several sets of these stakes now for those items because you really need something that is strong enough to hold your tent or whatever down and yet you can still drive it into the ground. We have lots of small stones so we need something that can drive past that stuff too. You really can't beat these stakes. ... show more

I really like these stakes for what they do. Solid rebar thats absolutely excellent at holding things down like a smal tent or a wire. The rebar is not rust proof however. Ive have a few bars in the ground and after a few months its pretty rusty but thats fine. Its expected. Overall they are excellent stakes for holding things down.
