Description

The exhilarating Gretsch G2655T Streamliner Center Block Jr. Double-Cut with Bigsby Electric Guitar is designed for three simple things: high gain-friendly performance, slick, easy playability, and spectacular style. A sleek music machine, the G2655T cranks out the hits with updated features while staying true to that great Gretsch sound! That has been a vital component of rock ‘n’ roll since its inception.Elegant DesignThe secret to the Streamliner’s sound is twofold: the Broad'Tron BT-2S humbucking pickup and the mahogany center block. Designed specifically for the Streamliner Collection, the high-output Broad'Tron pickup spawns improved definition with a tighter bass response for robust lows, pristine highs, and a throaty midrange. A lightweight chambered mahogany center block runs the length of the body, reinforcing the top while eliminating undesired feedback for volume-friendly performance on modern stages. The Streamliner’s sonic power is harnessed and shaped by the traditional control layout—neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a master tone control, a master volume control, and three-way pickup switching. Add some shimmer and expression to your playing with the Bigsby-licensed B50 vibrato tailpiece, while the anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge and synthetic bone nut grant astounding tuning stability and accurate, slip-free intonation.ConstructionA fast-playing 12-inch radius laurel fingerboard with elegant pearloid Big Block inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets sits atop the white-bound neck with a thin U-shaped profile—ideal for chord work or fiery riffing.Classic Style and ControlAll the classic eye-catching style you have come to expect from Gretsch is here: vintage-style black control knobs, enlarged F-holes for increased acoustic projection, elegant aged white binding with upgraded purfling, and slick-looking nickel hardware.

  • Good deal!!!
I took the gamble and bought this guitar. The seller Adorama did a good job shipping and also doubled boxed the guitar. I am glad it was doubled boxed because UPS beat the crap out of the outside box. The guitar arrived in excellent condition and will require some minor adjustments but was well worth the price I paid. I would buy from this company again. Many companies that sell on Amazon do not double box and I have received broken guitars in the past. It says a lot about a company that takes the time and added expense to double box an item. With this kind of service I would recommend buying from this company. Also the fit and finish of the guitar is very good. And the guitar has warm tone and plays well. ... show more

  • Great value for the price
Guitar came well boxed and in great shape. My only flaw is some of the fret ends were sticking out and sharp edges. It's necessary to lightly smooth with a file after taping off the area. Otherwise it plays nice, sound good and very lightweight. Color is cool too. I'm impressed for the price.

  • Incredible Value!
Beautiful guitar, plays quite well out of the box. This is an incredible value, craftmanship is exceptional for this price point. Well packed by seller and promptly shipped. Thanks Adorama!

  • Fabulous Guitar
I first saw this guitar at the Nashville Music Hall of Fame. It was priced about $200 more than this one. Same great guitar, just a higher price. I would've bought that one but they didn't have it in stock. I ordered this one plus the Gretsch case. Fantastic playing guitar right out the box. Action is correct with no buzz of any kind. Easy playing/superb sound quality. I can't imagine how they can make this great of a guitar at this price point and I've been playing for 60 years! ... show more

  • Beautiful guitar
The media could not be loaded. I bought this guitar as a gift for my husband’s birthday. He just falls in love with the slick olive green colour. The sound quality is too notch, easy to tune. The guitar was delivered promptly with protection without a single scratch.
