Mine was quite accurate right out of the box, and I use it linked to a Govee space heater, as well as their humidifier. I place it by my desk, and the appliances across the room, and it allows those appliances to work perfectly. I highly recommend them. My only complaint would be the display looks very busy because it shows the ranges it has recorded as well. This is great for a room you want to monitor like a humidor or storage room. But if you want a display of just the temperature and humidity, they have another model for $1 more that is e-ink display making it even easier to read.     • Works great but problem with paired Govee humidifier

Seems accurate enough, though not professionally tested, and easy to read and set up. Looks nice and has good functionality with the Govee application. But the Govee Lite Humidifier that it is paired with has been giving me lots of problems with shutdowns in Automatic Mode whenever the humidity dips more than 5-10% relative humidity below the parameters I set. Runs fine when within 3-4% relative humidity of parameters. Will return the humidifier for another unit, but if the problem with the paired humidifier persists the hygrometer will be of little to no use to me and will also be returned... if possible. If not possible, I will update feedback negatively for both units. If the humidifier problem is solved, I will recommend both the hygrometer and the paired humidifier. Troubleshooting from the application is useless, but the customer support link on Amazon was quick and courteous. ... show more

Only been using two or three weeks but so far so good! I put a separate wireless thermometer right next to it and it is within a half a degree. Hooking it up was very easy! For the price I'm very happy 😁. I have it in my garage in a small area for my three little dogs.. it's for their heater :-)

works well but not sure about accuracy, i will have to borrow another thermometer from someone and cross reference, I had put it outside for about 10 minutes , and cross referenced from different weather reports and it was accurate, i like the app and what it can do.

Unfortunately I was happy when I received this product. A couple days later I was quickly disappointed with it. Disappointing factors: 1. The 2x AA batteries will only last 4 days!!! And I tried every brand with the same results. No settings to minimize consumption either. How is that even possible. This device is so inefficient. I have a shaver that uses two AA batteries and it lasts me two months. Wrap your head around that one. I need not even list any other factors but will anyways. 2. This thing only syncs via Bluetooth to your mobile govee app. 3. No Wi-Fi. 4. No internal logging, So if you happen to leave your home and want to come back to sync days when not able Bluetooth, Nope no data available. 5. The back battery cover is not really well attached and secured and can easily be pulled off, considering the energy consumption of this thing it makes sense. No need to break a fingernail to open it. 6. It is small, no backlight, not really easily legible especially at night. 7. And this is the only and I mean only positive ability of this is exporting data is actually good and fast. That is the only reason I gave it one star. Don’t buy it imho there are many better options. Govee you need to redesign this with these negatives in mind if you want a good product test it before mass producing something that’s simply useless all together. I rarely write reviews so I wrote this as a buyer beware because I felt compelled to do so given my absolutely and utter disappointment! ... show more
