Exactly what I needed, and works quite well. I bought one of these to monitor a greenhouse at night and while I’m away. I get real-time updates on the temperature at night, any time I need to. Setup was super easy, only took a few minutes. There’s a lag of a minute or two before the app you download sees your network, but after that, everything is as easy as can be. We have a church in PA and if the furnace fails no one is there to tell and then you run the risks of frozen pipes. This is very accurate and sends a warning to your phone if it falls outside your preset parameters. It's great to know that all is well when you can't be there. I gave it four stars because it was really hard to set up....in fact I gave up but then it connected and started to work. It performs flawlessly these past 4 months even when the power was out it came back online without having to fuss with it. Govee is known to be difficult to set up and I'm now trying to do a water detection device from them and no luck so far but I'll do some more research. ... show more
