This is a great handheld for this price range.Has loads of all the best classics.All the mario games,Donkey Kong country,boogerman......you name it!Now,like the previous model,this also has a weird issue when starting super Nintendo games.They will start at very slow speed.There is a fix though!Start the snes game you want,if it's running slow press start and select to bring up the menu and quit the game.Then open the game again and everything works great.The overall build is nice and love the snes controller design.The screen looks nice aswell.This model comes with a wireless controller for two player gaming and you can also use it for single player instead of using the handheld itself.I tested this by hooking up the handheld with A/V cables to my tv(looks great on a crt) and using the wireless controller to play and it works perfectly.No delay or lag and it really feels like you are playing a genuine snes when using the controller.You are able to add games to a favorites list for quick access to your games,it has a search function so you can quickly find a game your are looking for and you can save your game progress.If you are wanting a retro handheld that has thousands of games from nes,snes,gb,gbc,gba,sega genesis etc.,is good quality and works and can be connected to a tv with a/v cables and is not going to break the bank then,this may just be for you.You really aren't going to find better for this price and what you get.Highly recommend. ... show more

My kid saved up to buy this and it did not disappoint. It’s been fun to hook up to the tv and play some childhood games on it with him. So far it’s been great and we’ve had no issues. He loves the color screen and how many games are included and the controls. Fun purchase.

I picked this up for my 9 yr old for when we travel and it’s been so great! It kept him busy on a 5 hr plane ride. Lots of fun games that can be played by all different age groups. Our 15 yr old son also plays them with him. Very easy to set up. This would make a great gift!

Of the many handheld (preloaded games) devices I own, this one was brilliantly made. I was impressed at how most of the games did not crash or freeze while playing, and how the easy navigation was broken down by category. This handheld machine comes with a USB charger, 2nd controller for two player action, tv cable (red/yellow plugin). Both the main controller with the screen and the 2nd controller (AAA) for two-player have compartments for batteries. Either play with a TV or wireless on the go and pair up both controllers. The instruction manual covers the basics and navigation for the game system and gaming list. The most important key take aways are - pressing start and select at the same time takes you out of a game or give you the option to quit a game or saving your progress when exiting a game. You can also use the search engine to find a specific game by title. To favorite a game and make it part of your favorite list, simply press the Y button. Everything else in the manual is straight forward and fairly basic. The gaming screen on the main controller pad is clear and vivid. The interface has these main categories: 204 games under Multiple Arcade Mode, Game Boy Advance 762 games, Game Boy Color 1112 games, Game Boy 1142 games, Mega Drive (Sega) 912 games, Super Famicom (Super Nintendo)1167 games, Family Computer (NES) 868 games, and User Interface which is for the game list, favorites, history played, and search engine. Also, under User Rom's & Settings - there are an additional 4,938 games from all different platforms. Product specs: wireless transmitting is 7-10 meters from each controller or tv. 5-6 hours of gameplay. Connection mode: AV and 2.4G wireless. Single or two player. Storage: supports TF card. There is a lot to digest here for gaming options. Do keep in mind, various games are in Japanese, many are in English. Some have stuttering/lagging issues. It was refreshing to play some of my childhood games on here though, and I haven't even scratched the surface with so many options to choose from. Most importantly, if you do not see a game on the list by platform, go to User Rom's and Settings and look for it. For example, Family Computer (NES) doesn't have Maniac Mansion, Friday The 13th, or Jaws listed in it's respective category. However, if you search for it, it is under the additional uncategorized 4938 games. Cheers! ... show more

This has a nice screen and good volume from the speakers. The buttons are clicky and good for playing GameBoy games (and most SuperNintendo!)
